Canyelles Lighthouse - From the apartment you look out over the Mediterranean Sea, in the morning you see the fishing boats sail out and they return at the end of the afternoon. The apartment is lovingly furnished and has a lovely balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. You will stay here with 4 to a maximum of 6 people. The apartment consists of a living room, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and toilet and a spacious balcony.

Easily accessible both by car (1400 km from Utrecht) and by plane (Girona or Barcelona airport).

It is fully equipped for a wonderfully relaxing stay and ideally located for the sea, beaches and the center of Roses (20 minutes walk).
Beautiful nature, walking, water sports, culture, nice cities, wine, restaurants: you will find it all in Roses on the beautiful Costa Brava.

Excellent base for city trips to Girona and Figueres where you will find the Dali museum.

Over the years we have traveled to many destinations, but the place we keep coming back to is Roses. Roses is one of the larger towns on the Mediterranean Sea, therefore nice in summer and winter. The location, just behind the Pyrenees, ensures many sunny days. In 2019 a wish came true for us with the purchase of our apartment. We had to add some love to it, but now it is a place that makes us really happy and we hope you too.

Explanation of prices

No surprises upon departure: prices include heating/air conditioning, water, WiFi and tourist tax. You pay 15 euros per person on site for bed linen and towels.

These are the cancellation conditions in case of cancellation by the tenant:

in case of cancellation up to 4 weeks before the start of the rental period: 30%, being the down payment of the rental sum.

in case of cancellation from 4 weeks until the day of arrival, 75% of the total rental sum

A beautiful walk along the beautiful rugged coast of the Costa Brava.

You can snorkel from every beach. Swim around the places with sea grass or stones and you will be surprised by how many fish you see and other underwater life that is found in de Mediterranean.

You will find the most beautiful beaches in Roses, the beaches of Canyelles and Almadrava are sheltered by a curve in the bay and you can enjoy a calm swim here.

There are many, many nice restaurants in the area. Make a reservation at the popular restaurants.

Figueres is a nice provincial town half an hour's drive from Roses, you can enjoy shopping here. The Dali museum is located here and around the museum are many shops with Dali souvenirs. You can also find the largest fortress in Europe here: Castell de Sant Ferran. Figueres is worth a visit!

The Aguamolls d'Emporda nature reserve is approximately 20 minutes from the apartment. You will find here marked routes with huts from which you can view the waterbirds in the park. A pair of binoculars is recommended. There are some pretty amazing walks here.

In Roses you will find a number of bodegas where you can taste the wine from the barrels and then tap it from the barrel. Examples include Bodega Joan Albert at Carrer Arquitecte de Gaudi 12 and Wine Palace at Avenda gran VIA PAU Casals.

You will not get bored during a holiday in Roses, which is located on the Bay of Roses, it has miles of beach and there is always something to do. Think of boat trips, hiking (Cami de Ronda, Cap de Creus National Park), exploring the area, karting, miniature golf, bowling, shopping, day at the beach, rent a water ski, day at the Aqua Brava water park, diving, snorkeling, Ciutadella de Roses, day at Gerona or Visit Barcelona, the Dali museum in Figueres or the former home of Dali in Cadaques. Alternated with a stop on one of the many terraces for a snack and drink.
