Welcome to Villa Xalvador, a special, modern holiday villa where peace, space and style come together. The villa is located on the outskirts of the authentic Catalan village of Siurana d'Empordà, in the middle of the beautiful landscape of the Empordà and yet a short drive from the beaches and well-known coastal towns of the Costa Brava.

The heart of Villa Xalvador is the impressive living room with high ceilings and large windows. The space is divided into a comfortable sitting area, a modern open kitchen and a separate dining area.
From almost every corner you look out over the terrace and the swimming pool, with the green landscape and an old orchard behind it. Thanks to the large glass areas, there is a lot of natural light and the inside and outside merge beautifully.
The comfortable seating area is a nice place to escape the heat or watch a movie together in the evening. Of course, the villa has good internet and television.
Modern and fully equipped kitchen
The open kitchen is modern and fully equipped and, together with the dining area, forms a cozy central place in the villa. Among other things, you have an induction hob and luxury built-in appliances.
At the breakfast bar you can have a quiet breakfast in the morning or sit down for a cup of coffee, while the large dining table offers enough space to dine with the whole group.
Behind the kitchen is also a practical utility room with laundry room and an extra freezer.
Bedrooms with private bathroom and terrace
On the ground floor there are three comfortable double bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, air conditioning and access to a private terrace.
The rooms are equipped with good box-spring beds and the spacious bathrooms are modern and luxuriously finished with, among other things, a walk-in shower.
Because each bedroom has its own bathroom, Villa Xalvador offers a lot of privacy. Ideal when you are on holiday with several couples or two families.
Extra sleeping space on the mezzanine
Above the living room is a spacious loft with a fourth sleeping area, equipped with two extra beds.
From this floor you have access to a large private terrace with lounge set and a beautiful panoramic view of the surroundings. A wonderful place to sit quietly, read a book or enjoy the view at the end of the day.
Private swimming pool of 12 meters long
Outside, one of the most beautiful parts of Villa Xalvador awaits: the long private swimming pool of no less than 12 x 3 meters, exclusively for you and your travel companions.
The pool has a built-in staircase and an outdoor shower and offers plenty of space for swimming and cooling off on hot summer days. On the terrace along the pool there is a fixed lounge sofa over almost the entire length: a wonderful place to sit comfortably, relax and in the meantime enjoy the sun and the view of the water.
Around the pool you will also find several comfortable seating areas and sunbeds. Thanks to the unobstructed view and the quiet location, you can enjoy plenty of privacy here.
When the lighting of the villa and pool is switched on in the evening, the outdoor area takes on a beautiful atmosphere. A wonderful place for long summer evenings with a good glass of wine.
Several terraces and a sheltered courtyard garden
Villa Xalvador offers much more than just the terrace around the pool. On the side of the house is an attractive, sheltered courtyard garden where you will again find a completely different place to relax.
Here you can enjoy the surroundings and the view towards the village in peace. The long dining table and barbecue area also make this a wonderful place to cook outside and eat extensively together.
Because of the various terraces, there is always a nice place in the sun or in the shade during the day.
Peace and quiet in an authentic Catalan village
Villa Xalvador is located in Siurana d'Empordà, a small and authentic Catalan village where you can still really experience the tranquility of the Spanish countryside.
No mass tourism or busy boulevard in front of the door, but old streets, nature, fields and daily village life. That is precisely what makes the location so special.
In the village you will find a local café-restaurant and from the villa you can enjoy walking and cycling through the surrounding countryside.
Discover local products from the Empordà
The surroundings of Siurana are ideally suited to discover the other face of the Costa Brava.
Nearby, you can visit Vins de Taller, a local winery surrounded by beautiful vineyards. A nice opportunity to get acquainted with the wines of this region.
Mas Marcè is also worth a visit. Local products are made on this organic sheep farm, including various cheeses and yogurts. Great for those who would like to discover something of the real Catalan life and the local gastronomy during their holiday.
Beaches and coastal towns within easy reach
Although Villa Xalvador is wonderfully quiet inland, the coast is easily accessible. This way you combine the privacy and space of the countryside with everything the Costa Brava has to offer.
Take a day trip to Roses or Empuriabrava, discover the beaches and historic surroundings of L'Escala and Sant Martí d'Empúries or drive to the picturesque Cadaqués and the Cap de Creus nature reserve.
From wide sandy beaches to small bays with clear water: from Villa Xalvador you can discover a different part of the Costa Brava every day.
Figueres and the world of Salvador Dalí
Figueres is also close by. This lively city is best known as the birthplace of Salvador Dalí and the famous Teatre-Museu Dalí is definitely worth a visit.
But Figueres has more to offer. Stroll along the Rambla, visit the shops and market or enjoy tapas and a drink on one of the many terraces.
Girona and Barcelona
A day trip to Girona or Barcelona is also possible. From Figueres you can easily travel by high-speed train to both cities.
Girona is wonderful for a day full of culture, old streets, shops and restaurants. If you want to go to Barcelona for a day, you can be in the middle of the city in about 50 minutes by high-speed train.
Everything for a relaxing holiday
At Villa Xalvador you don't really have to do anything. Start the morning with coffee on the terrace, then take a dip in the long private pool and find a nice spot in the sun. In the evening, light the barbecue and enjoy a long summer evening together.
