One of the terraces where you can relax in the shade. A gate can be closed here so that it is also safe for small children.
In the morning it is delicious to have breakfast here. You can take the awnings completely out and so that you can sit in the shade.
Altea has about 5 km of beach from 'Cap Negret' in the North, 'La Roda' and 'Cap Blanc' in the South. Around the marina are the beaches of 'Pueblo Macarat'. Not the overcrowded areas like Benidorm and Calpe, but beaches with great views and sand and pebble beach.
Every day there is a market somewhere on the Costa Blanca. Fruits and vegetables, clothing, jewelry, shoe, and sometimes plants and herbs are plentiful. At a Rastro (flea market) there are mainly second-hand items or antiques to be found.
There are several golf courses such as Golf Club Don Cayo Altea (9 holes). This is a 5-minute walk from the house.

The old town of Altea. Known for its typical white lacquered houses. All built around the beautiful church with its famous blue dome. It is wonderful to parade here. Super nice shops and restaurants. A 5-minute drive from the house.

From the front door you can see the beaches of El Campello in the distance.
From the main entrance you enter the hall and you see the living room.
Enjoy playing table tennis with your family members. This is possible at Casa Gran Mirador. And after table tennis, you can continue playing on the American pool billiards indoors.
You have a great view on the terrace of the 2nd floor. You will see the city of Alicante and the beaches of El Campello. Behind you you will see beautiful mountains. It's nice to wake up in the morning on this fitness machine.

The area around Casa Gran Mirador is a true cycling paradise. There are beautiful routes that you can ride for both mountain bikers and racing cyclists. Prepare for some tough climbing!
Our olive tree is and remains beautiful. Apparently already 150 years old, this tree takes a prominent place in the landscaped garden of Casa Gran Mirador.
The swimming pool has a beautiful brick access staircase. After three steps the pool is one meter deep. The swimming pool at the back is 1.70 deep. There are swimming pool regulations that we display on our announcement board.
From the hall you will see the stairs to the ground floor and to the second floor.
The sunrises at Casa Gran Mirador are also a real pleasure. Reason enough to get up on time!
You can have a delicious lunch and dinner everywhere in Spain. But sometimes it's also nice to stay at home and provide a good lunch for your family.
The barbecue gazebo offers ample seating for larger groups. It is especially pleasant to stay here in the evening.

Of course, the villa is also beautifully illuminated at night. There is lighting at the house and you can also turn on the pool lighting and garden lighting to stay outside for a long time in the evening.
We have set up two permanent parasols by the pool. This is for people who prefer to avoid the sun.

Since 2010 there is a modern tramway along the Costa Blanca from Alicante to Denia. From the airport, take the bus for € 2.90 pp to Luceros (Alicante city center) and then take the escalator down and take the tram for only € 1.45 to El Campello to stop Salesians (our house).
