As a result of amended Spanish legislation, movers of holiday homes are obliged to make a choice between short rental periods of up to 11 days and longer rental periods as of 1 December 2024. We are therefore forced to rent out only for a longer term, i.e. 11 days and longer. In the months of July and August, bookings can only be made for a period of 14 days, 21 or 28 days, from Saturday to Saturday.

In the quiet residential area of Ortembach, this charming villa stands on a fenced plot of 1000 m2. Only a 5-minute drive to the beach. Very suitable for 1 or 2 families as well as for a group of friends. Around the villa a beautiful and well-maintained Mediterranean garden, private swimming pool, various terraces and lots of privacy. For home workers, a workplace and High speed WIFI (fiber optic) are available. Also available for wintering (minimum 5 months) for which tailor-made rates are negotiable. To contain the mosquito population, the garden undergoes a very effective treatment 1x/month (May-0kt.). Fewer mosquitoes = more peace and comfort for our guests!
The villa offers space for a maximum of 6 (and on request 7) adults and 1 child up to 2-3 years (available: high chair, cot and outdoor playpen/bed, baby bath, changing mat, potty, toys (1-6 yrs.)).
The villa is bright and tastefully decorated. There are a large number of good Dutch books (novels, thrillers, etc.) and board games available. There is a chromecast with which you can stream e.g. Netflix, Videoland, NPO Start, Youtube etc. from your own device!
Bedrooms
On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom is equipped with extra-long beds (180 x 210 cm.). The 3rd bedroom and the 3rd (new) bathroom are located in the studio in the basement. The basement has its own access and can be reached from the outside. If you come with 2 families or with older children, the studio offers extra privacy.
All bedrooms are equipped with new air conditioning systems (hot/cold) and also equipped with mosquito nets and blackout curtains or shutters.
In the winter months, the villa is centrally heated with a gas-fired central heating system.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, an electric ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, Dolce Gusto, toaster, kettle, juicer and a hand blender.
Ironing board and steam iron are provided.
Your safety has also been thought of. There is a fire extinguisher and a smoke detector in the kitchen.
TV, audio and entertainment
In the living room is the digital satellite TV that eg. channels from the Netherlands, England, Germany, Belgium and France. Thanks to a Chromecast, you can stream your own streaming subscriptions from, for example, Netflix and Videoland from your laptop or mobile phone to the TV.
Via the DENON receiver you can listen to your favorite music using Bluetooth.
There is a good and free WIFI connection in and around the villa, but you can also receive your own internet provider.
Workplace
We have placed a desk for the home worker, suitable for laptop, including an office chair. In and around the house you have High speed WIFI available.
Swimming pool
Around the beautiful, illuminated swimming pool there is plenty of space to relax on the sunbeds or to roast a fish on the bbq. Outdoor shower (hot/cold) is available. The depth of the pool varies between approx. 110-220 cm.
From the roof terrace you have beautiful views of the Peñon d'Ifach, the sea and the surrounding area.
Receipt
After booking you will receive the information booklet and directions to Casa Prudentia by e-mail. You will be welcomed at the villa by Sonia, our hostess. Sonia will show you around the house and explain a number of devices. She speaks English, German and Spanish.
In connection with the cleaning procedure, we use the following arrival and departure times:
- Arrival between 15.00-20.00 hours.
- Departure before 10:00 am.
The beds are made for you on arrival and a welcome drink is waiting for you!
