Our house is on the ground floor. The upstairs neighbors are not often present.
Swimming pool is nice and quiet and beautifully situated.

Second pool (out of 3) is nicely sheltered, and you often have a great time for yourself.

When the weather is clear we can see the coast of Morocco.
This is the entrance to our apartment. The car can be parked on the road. With an access code you simply open the gate.
This bedroom has 2 single beds. Can be placed separately from each other or can be used as a double bed.
We have free wifi and have Dutch, German, English TV and radio channels.
The nice terrace is covered which is very nice. You can choose the sun or shade all day long.

From the terrace you can enjoy the sunset.
Also inside you can see the sea from the bank.
Our apartment is wonderfully cool and light through the patio. There is also air conditioning which also in the cooler months, which are almost not there, also use as heating.
Our kitchen is simple but has everything you need. A ceramic hob, a convection oven to occasionally prepare something simple and enjoy the sunset on our terrace.
In addition to a fridge / freezer and microwave, we also have a washing machine. Detergent is available and can be used as usual.
The bedrooms both have fitted wardrobes. Very handy for your own stuff.
This bathroom has a walk-in shower and toilet and two sinks. Enough closet space for your own things.
Bedroom 2 has a bathroom ensuite.

A nice beach and nice beach bar can be found at Cabopino Beach. This is only 10 minutes from our apartment.

There is a green and blooming park between the pools. Ideal for example to play with children.
Do you enjoy walking along the sea? By car you are there in 5 minutes. You can also do it on foot. Along the beach you have kilometers of wooden walkways.
The many white mountain villages are worth a visit. Think of Mijas Pueblo
You can walk very well through the dunes at Cabopino.
A must to do is discover Mijas Pueblo with a tuk tuk
Our urbanization is very well taken care of by the gardener.
Delicious paella food at one of the many restaurants on the beach.
The little harbor at Cabopino. Again a number of restaurants. It is 5 minutes by car, but can also be walked over the wooden walkway.
There are enough beaches to discover.
Next to the beach our apartment is ideally located to make many trips and visit beautiful cities in Andalusia. Eg Ronda.

Inland Andalusia is known for the many picturesque ‘white villages’ scattered across the landscape like snowflakes. One of them is Alhaurín el Grande, a traditional village thirty minutes’ drive east of Málaga. The white-washed houses with coloured frames ooze the relaxed atmosphere of the Spanish countryside. Alhaurín el Grande is set at the foot of the Sierra de Mijas mountains and overlooks the spectacular Guadalhorce Valley. A holiday home in this beautiful area is also an ideal choice if you like walking and cycling. Trips from Alhaurín el Grande

Alhaurín el Grande has managed to perfectly preserve its ancient charm. A walk through the old centre gives a good impression of the village’s rich history. One of the main attractions is the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación (Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation). Other sights include the Casa Consistorial (the townhall), the Ermita de San Sebastián (Hermitage of San Sebastien) and the Ermita de la Santa Vera Cruz (Hermitage of the Sainted Holy Cross). A holiday home in Alhaurín el Grande is also a good base for exploring the surrounding area. However, a car or hire car is recommended. It will only take you thirty minutes to drive to Málaga or Marbella. Or you can drive on to the El Torcal de Antequera nature reserve, where you can enjoy some lovely walks and bike rides. And as the icing on the cake: Alhaurín el Grande is really close to the Costa del Sol!

  • There’s always something to celebrate in Alhaurín el Grande. The last week of May is the Feria de Alhaurín el Grande (the annual village festival), January 17th is the feast of San Anton, in February it’s carnival, August 15th is the feast of Our Lady of Grace, and so on and so on...
  • Easter is by far the most important celebration of the year. It has even been declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest in Andalusia.
