Here's a top view of the swimming pool taken from one of the balconies on the top floor, right by the snooker table.
This is the main entryway into our property, you can choose to park on the shade of our old and beautiful cork oak tree or in our garage, a little way down.
This is the main entrance of the house, you can already see the big balcony where you can enjoy your meals from BBQ to a fresh tasty fish!
Going around the entrance, on the right side it will lead you to the swimming pool.

This is the big shared balcony of the rooms, we can see on the right the big windows that lead into the rooms and the smaller ones that correspond to the en suite bathrooms windows of every room. On the left there's the garage area were you can effortlessly park two cars.
Here we see the first entryway once you go through the main door. The first bedroom door is by your right. If you keep walking forward it will lead to the main hallway, or you can take the stairs to the top floor.
Here's the main hallway, we have two bedroom doors on the left side, one bedroom on the end of the hall and on the right side is the big window that leads to the swimming pool area.

Once you get a good view of the bedrooms you can take the stair into the top floor where you'll be greeted by a wonderful panoramic view of the Algarve hillsides.
This open space leads into the living room. It has a fireplace, sofa, TV... all you need to entertain yourself and your loved ones.

This is the kitchen area. Fully equiped with two 4 beaker eletric stoves, air exhaust, oven and everything you could use to cook delicious meals.
On the right side of the kitchen you have a door that lead to this balcony with a BBQ set up, dinning table, a sink and electric outlet you can use for the electric grill.

On the opposite side of the house we have the back balcony were you can enjoy the best views, our pool table or simply rest for a good while.

Almancil: nature homes on the coast

The coastline of Almancil is part of Ria Formosa, a large, protected nature reserve. The area attracts bird watchers from all over the world. They come here to spot rare birds such as the little egret, the little tern and the spoonbill. Ria Formosa also receives regular visits from a colony of flamingos. In this stunning area you will find lovely routes for walking and cycling. So put on your walking shoes or get on your bike and discover all the beauty that’s on offer. A nature home in Almancil is also an ideal base for other nice trips in the area. Shopping in Portimão, for example, a lively port city that houses the largest sardine fleet in Portugal. There is also plenty to do for the children. Throughout the area you will find many fun attractions, and with a playground and swimming pool nearby there is always something to do.

Interesting facts about Almancil

  • On the outskirts of Almancil is one of the most famous churches in all of Portugal: São Lourenco de Matos, a small church dating from the 17th century and dedicated to Saint Lawrence of Rome.
  • The Ria Formosa nature reserve has the longest continuous stretch of protected coastline in the world.
  • Close to Almancil is the Estádio Algarve, a football stadium where the 2004 European Championship was played. The stadium is now mainly used by the Gibraltar national football team.
