Casa Pura Vida is a beautiful and quiet holiday home for 4-5 people near the coast and very centrally located in the Algarve. The house has had Dutch owners since July 2018 and was completely newly furnished. In 2023 we installed a new kitchen. The house is located on a botanical hill and has a beautiful panoramic view over the nature reserve (Salgados), the golden dunes and the blue ocean. The house has a fantastic roof terrace (60m2) with BBQ, dining tables, sun beds and relaxing chairs. The roof terrace offers complete privacy and has a sublime view. Next to the house is a cozy side terrace with dining table, under a tree and a beautiful view of the valley. The house is located on a small, green and quiet estate Quinta da Saudade. Casa Pura Vida is the house at the end of the complex, high on the hill, in the green and far from the road. You can enjoy the tranquility, while being very close to many attractions.

Quinta da Saudade is an authentic former estate around a farm, where 25 holiday homes have been built on the hill. The Quinta is often rated as a unique place to enjoy and relax. The holiday home is located in attractive and well-maintained gardens with many flowers, palm, almond, olive and orange trees. It is an oasis of peace with 2 beautiful swimming pools, a children's pool with a small playground, tennis court, mini golf, table tennis and jeu de boules. The former farm is now a good Portuguese restaurant with a very good price/quality ratio.
There is also a riding school on site in the valley (cavalosquintadasaudade.com ). With the horses, rides can be made through the nearby dunes and, when it is not busy, on the beach. There are horses for beginners and experienced riders. For golf enthusiasts, the popular Salgados golf is just 1 km away. The vast, golden beach of Praia Grande de Pera is 800 m from the Quinta. The beach is about 3 km long from Galé to Armacao de Pera, and even in the middle of summer, large parts of the beach are quiet. Nude recreation is allowed on part of the beach for enthusiasts. In the vicinity there are also numerous smaller beaches between the beautiful rock formations. See also the youtube movie about the house. The Quinta is 12 minutes from the old town of Albufeira and 45 minutes from Faro airport. While you stay in peace at the Quinta da Saudade, there is a lot to experience in the vicinity. This is a great combination. Many guests therefore often return.
Casa Pura Vida has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has an excellent double bed. The other bedroom has excellent 2 single beds. The living room of 28 m2 has sliding doors to the balcony. The kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, toaster, kettle and just outside the kitchen is a washing machine. The villa has air conditioners in the living room and in both bedrooms. The air conditioners are also heating in winter and there is a wood stove. The house has its own high speed Wifi, Smart TV (with youtube and Netflix for your own account), satellite TV with many European channels. The TV also has a Bluetooth audio system, which can be connected wirelessly to your mobile phone, tablet or laptop to play your own music. There is also an HDMI cable for playback from your laptop. The holiday home is cleaned twice a week and includes bed linen, towels and tea towels. Bed linen is changed weekly. You only need to bring your own beach towels. In the months from October to March, the electricity and wood used will be charged. We want our guests to feel at home and have a pleasant stay in our house and at the Quinta. During your stay at the Quinta there are very helpful people for you at the office opposite the old former farm (now restaurant). Here you can go with all your questions about the house, about the Quinta or about activities in the area.
The changeover day is on Saturday from the beginning of May to the end of October. This means that bookings in principle take place from Saturday to Saturday, i.e. entire weeks. We may be flexible in consultation.
From October 20, 2022 we also rent out the almost identical house next door: Casa Bela Vista. Prices are the same. Photos of Casa Bela Vista are added at the end.
