This sunny conservatory is located at the front of the house. You can look outside from 3 sides here and take in the beautiful surroundings completely.

From the conservatory you have a view on 3 sides. A lovely place to relax.
Since 2021 we have bought 2 new sofas. A 2 and 3 seater. This way you can comfortably look over the water and enjoy the view

The wood-burning stove has a prominent place in the home. This is only used in the winter.
This modern open kitchen has a fridge, oven, kettle, coffee maker, extractor hood and induction hob. In the utility room you have a freezer with 3 drawers.

The house is surrounded by nature. Via this country road you will arrive at the property.
City castle within walking distance in the middle of the forest. A really nice walk and from there you can visit the old town.
From home you can visit our beautiful town and enjoy various terraces, restaurants and cozy cafes.
Panoramic view of the beautiful old town of Wijk bij Duurstede that is located at the intersection of the Amsterdam Rijn canal
This is the famous Rhine and Lek windmill. This mill is behind the city wall. You can visit this within walking distance from the home. It is a flour mill where enthusiastic volunteers work who can explain how things went in the past. Afterwards you can still buy flour.

When the window tarps are closed, it quickly becomes warm because of the glass roof and the window tarps. This makes it wonderful to stay in the veranda, even in the spring and autumn.
The rose on the rose arch blooms beautifully in summer.
Our gazebo where smoking is allowed. Smoking is NOT allowed in the chalet/veranda.
