Our lovely holiday home is located in a quiet, centrally located spot on the 't Wildryck estate in Diever. A cozy house full of atmosphere and warmth in a private place in the park. Our cottage is fully equipped including a children's corner with toys for the children. More practical information about a booking in our property can be found below.

At the end of 2022, our roof was completely replaced by a characteristic tiled roof with a large dormer window in the master bedroom. Earlier that year, the bathroom, toilet and kitchen had already been renovated. Come and enjoy the beautiful result!

Landgoed 't Wildryck is located in the middle of the Drents Friese would, just outside the beautiful village of Diever in Drenthe. A region rich in natural beauty with beautiful heaths, sand drifts and forests. A wonderful area for walking and cycling and enjoying one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands.

't Wildryck is a unique holiday park: generously set up with plenty of opportunities for children and adults with beautiful different houses. All have their own style and décor. The park has a spacious indoor swimming pool with an outdoor sun terrace at the restaurant. The park also has charging facilities for your electric bicycle or car and many other facilities to make your holiday a success.

In addition, the beautiful village of Diever is known for its Shakespeare open-air theatre. With a performance of one of Shakespeare's famous plays every summer.

Our house has recently been equipped with a new bathroom downstairs and toilet on the first floor. The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower and, just like the extra toilet, is equipped with colorful Portuguese tiles for the ultimate holiday feeling! In the living room, the kitchen has been refurbished and expanded with an extra large and energy-efficient fridge with freezer compartment and a modern induction hob. A new tiled floor gives the kitchen a warm look in addition to the beautiful solid oak floor in the living room.

Downstairs:
Entrance with access to recently renovated bathroom with toilet and walk-in shower. On this floor there is also a spacious living room with upstairs room with sofa and cozy wood stove. In the dining area there is a dining table and next to it a TV and second sofa. The open kitchen includes an extra large fridge with freezer, induction hob, freestanding oven, microwave, coffee maker, Senseo machine, dishwasher. And in the utility room there is also a brand new modern Samsung washing machine.

A second toilet with sink, an authentic double bed 140×200. The extended rear bedroom offers two box spring single beds (2x90x200) combined into a double bed. In the front bedroom two single box springs (90×200).

Behind the house you will find a privacy-rich forest garden and both sunny and shady spots. A decent garden set supplemented with new sun beds make the garden a wonderful place to enjoy nature and spot birds and squirrels.

Mandatory additional costs for each booking are:
Reservation costs, cleaning costs, tourist tax and bed linen.

Cleaning in our home is (as for most homes in our park) outsourced to a professional cleaning organization.

You must take care of your own cancellation insurance.

If you are interested in one of the optional extras such as a kitchen linen package, towel package, cot or high chair, that can be arranged.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Additional costs and information regarding cancellations

Reservation fee   EUR 35 per booking
Final cleaning      EUR 75 per booking (provided by cleaning company on behalf of the park)
Bed linen                    EUR 11 per person per booking
Tourist tax     EUR 2.00 per person per night (age from 13 years)

Cancellations:
If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example).

In connection with the recron conditions that the park applies with regard to cancellation, the following amounts will be charged in case of cancellation, these costs depend on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 90% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, he will continue to owe the full rent.

The costs for bed linen, cleaning and tourist tax will be fully refunded in the event of cancellation.

You can of course arrange for cancellation insurance yourself to be reimbursed for any cancellation costs.
