Cancellation and damage: You are advised to take out cancellation insurance.
Termination of the tenancy agreement in the period up to 5 months before the commencement date of the tenancy period is possible. An administration fee will be charged for this (€ 125).
For cancellation in the period from 5 months to the rental commencement date, you must make use of your own cancellation insurance. After all, the cancellation costs are 100% of the rent.

Damage to and within the holiday home that has occurred during the rental period and is reasonably attributable to the tenant is at the expense of the tenant (own third-party insurance). We ask you to cooperate in reporting a claim. We are then able to arrange for a replacement. All this is in the interest of the next tenant. In the event of significant damage to the property (e.g. fire or water damage) before the rental date has started, the landlord can unilaterally terminate the rental agreement.
In such a case, the tenant will be fully refunded the rent paid. In the unlikely event of accidents, injuries or illnesses occurring during your stay in or around the property, the landlord cannot be held liable for this. The landlord is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests or other registered invitees expressly acknowledge the risk of damage resulting from the use of the property.

It is not allowed to charge your electric vehicle via our regular power grid of our house. Charging your vehicle is only allowed for renters of the Merel using the EV box charging point. In case of Illegal charging, we will report it to the police and we will inform Micazu.
