On the terraces in the "meadow" you have access to a 3-seater sofa and chairs with seat cushions. You are immediately in nature with hills and forests all around.
For a day of relaxation, you are immediately in the right place.
The outdoor barbecue is ready to be used immediately in the evening with of course a Friulan wine because did you know that Friuli is known for the best white wines in Italy.

At short distances from the house you can visit the attractive weekly markets in various cities in the morning. On Saturday in Spilimbergo, on Monday in Maniago and Thursday in Portogruaro. There are also antique markets in the region almost every Sunday. More detailed information and data on the markets can be found in the available info folder. and did you know that the capuccino only costs € 1.30 and a good glass of wine too.

The house is a general information pack available from the immediate vicinity.

Although we do not such writers, we want to let you guys know how great we have had here. Upon arrival, (laatin very dark) we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful house. And then the next day: what a great calm and so beautiful! The first few days we enjoyed the peace, and a trip to Venice, beautiful city! We fished for trout and then on the bbq done! Swimming and fishing in the Meduna and Lake Tramonti. We took Lily to the scuola Mozaicisti been. War that we liked! The next day very early with Lily in the search and `Tagliamentostenen afternoon with the hammer to work, SWEAT! but it was fantastic. Too bad the trip to Pala no longer in it, but maybe next time? The wines together and the old-timer hunting it was all nice and cozy. We thank you for the wonderful time that we could have.
As for the tips: open all doors.

Dear Lily and Will,
First we want to thank you for the wonderful week in this beautiful house. Slept on soft beds, amazed looking at all the artwork, cozy walk with Bongo and pizzas baked; short topweek! The visit to Venice was really great. Take a camera and leave at virtually every corner to seduce a picture! You can be a reasonable amount for eating out, if you take the tourist sites, but shun! Also in the area there is plenty to do! Way you can, if you like some fish holding your own meal together and then angling in Cornino the best ice from the area trials in Maniago, opposite piazza Sport! In the caves of Pradis is a truly authentic restaurant where the map depends on the available ingredients and the owner serves customers with a hippy-like appearance and the famed Italian charm. (Name: Tra Ombre). Definitely recommended!
Well, we can have many pages volschrijven about the wonderful time here, but knitting honor anyway and end.

Dear Lily & Will,
A big gamble, just rent a house for 2 weeks. Our first time to Italy, the first time to this region. Advance, we knew little or nothing of the environment and its culture. But what have we gained this verreikiong weeks. Beautiful weather had to 31 deg C., sometimes popping thunderstorms and heavy rain. But it fits perfectly with this beautiful region, the culture and friendliness. Thanks for the tips and stories about the environment. We really enjoyed.
The wine we will still take a very long flavors.

Dear Lily and Will
This was one of our best vacations. The best thing we found Bongo and the mosaics. Daan and I had copied Bongo (Bram) made the Ferrari logo. Each day we'll come with Bongo play. We were throwing sticks, stones look, swim stroke and cuddle. He greeted us every morning. The nature was very beautiful here and of course eating. The least fun was saying goodbye.
I hope that continues to be cuddled Bongo enbedankt for everything.

A day trip to romantic Venice You should not skip. Of course you can go by car but it is certainly easy, peaceful and family to make this trip by train.
You go to the station located about 30 km and takes very little money for a return ticket to Venice and you arrive in the heart of the city.

The entire ground floor where all rooms are entirely executed without steps, sills or stirrups.
The bathroom has a shower with existing shower chair and raised toilet.
Many times, the house rented by wheelchair dependent persons. All this have a positive experience.

For a day of swimming and sunbathing by the Italians used a lot of the rivers such as the Tagliamento and Meduna in different places with bars and eateries. Also a trip to the Adriatic coast worthwhile.

The city of Trieste is certainly worth a day to stay.
The city is about 125 km from your home and is easy by car on beautiful country roads to reach. Beautiful squares, buildings, beautiful coastline and of course the castle where the famous movie itself is played by Sissy will remember for quite some time.

On 20 minutes to get to the caves of Pradis with its beautiful waterfalls. Also you are there in a wooded area with natural rock formations where you can make beautiful walks and enjoy the silence. In dedirecte environment affects the nature of a bar / restaurant for a friendly drink or meal.

For larger groceries, there are several supermarkets in the town of Spilimbergo, which can be reached in 15 minutes.
In the summer months, several supermarkets are also open on Sundays without afternoon closures.

Around the house you will find a lot of mosaics. For lovers can also take a look at www.scuolamosaicistifriuli.it and www.lilyvannunen.nl.
It is also possible to visit the famous mosaic school in Spilimbergo, or a day trip to the city of Aquileia where many artworks on display. Also there is the possibility, during certain periods, a mosaic-workshop.

Mosaic Workshop

Villa Vigna is located in the heart of Italian mosaic region. The nearby town of Spilimbergo is the international center of mosaic art that has existed for centuries. The naturally colored stones that were collected on the banks of the river Tagliamento were professionally cut and in a pattern on the floor of the Basilica of Aquileia laid. This floor was therefore the symbol of mosaic art and thus laid the foundation for the Scuola di Mosaico you in three years can be trained as an artist. But you probably have not much time ...

- The workshop is given by the owner of your holiday. She has over 12 years experience with mosaics and teaching.
- Choose from the use of (and even seek out) stones from the Tagliamento, the traditional cut of stone with hammer and anvil or working with smalt (stained glass). Also a combination of materials is possible.
- There is also access to a bandsaw figure. This machine is suitable for children.
- There is plenty of room for initiative and creativity. The design or help you decide.

- 1x 1x lunch and dinner are included. Here, among other vegetables from our own organic garden and the typical homemade Northern Italian regional dish polenta served. The delicious local wines included.
The workshop is available for anyone who spends holidays in Villa Vigna and sense in a creative and challenging experience.

For some fish on the BBQ go to the trout farm in Cornino. For a few dollars per kilo to buy your own fish caught there.

In the proximity of the nature and bird sanctuary. Here you can enjoy beautiful scenery along the Tagliamento River and a stroll around the lake. Also you are to the bird with its wonderful wildlife.
This trip is easily combined with'''' trout fishing in the previous section. These two are only 2 km apart.
