This location on Lake Iseo offers many possibilities: From Paratico you can take nice walking, boat and cycling trips in the area or cast a fishing line. Bicycle and/or boat rental is available close to the apartment. It is also an ideal water sports location. You are right in the small, characteristic center of Paratico and only 500 meters from the boulevard with characteristic shops and restaurants on the lake. Via the bridge you can easily walk into the adjacent village of Sarnico with even more authentic restaurants, attractive bars, Italian shops, the harbors and the various parks on the waterfront.
From a culinary point of view, Paratico/Sarnico is the right place for you. There are very good restaurants within walking distance. Fresh fish from the lake is also on the menu. Then a nice evening walk along the boulevard while enjoying an Italian ice cream. In the immediate vicinity of the boulevard of Paratico there are landscaped public parks where you can sunbathe and swim in Lake Iseo. You can get in and out of the water using steps. There is a tour boat in Sarnico that can take you to all the villages on Lake Iseo. Such as the pleasant village of Iseo.
For golf enthusiasts: Franciacorta Golf Club is 15 minutes away by car. A beautiful golf course with 3 loops of 9 holes.
Or the large island of Montisola, located in the middle of Lake Iseo. At Montisola you can take a mountain walk to the top and enjoy the beautiful view. There are also many cycling routes around Lake Iseo. The atmosphere around the lake is friendly and pleasant. There is no mass tourism yet and you notice that. Within a radius of less than a kilometer from our apartment you will find everything you need. Several small shops for daily needs and some supermarkets. Even a very good (take-away) pizzeria around the corner. Even without a car, you can experience a special holiday on Lake Iseo. By car you have the option to go a little further away and, for example, drive towards the vineyards of Franciacorta.
Or to the nearby cities of Bergamo, Verona, Brescia or Milan. You can also visit several surrounding historic villages, each with their own charm. A car tour around the lake (66 km) is also a particularly beautiful experience.
Our apartment is located on the first floor of a small complex of 6 apartments.
There is no elevator in the apartment. Unfortunately, it is therefore not suitable for wheelchair users. You have access to a new (open) kitchen with induction hob, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with 2 freezer drawers. A spacious dining table, a living room with seating area, TV and garden doors to the balcony where you can enjoy breakfast while enjoying the morning sun. A compact bathroom with toilet, bidet, bath/shower.
A large bedroom with balcony and plenty of closet space. The second (smaller) bedroom has a sofa bed for 2 people. Also with spacious closet. The living room has air conditioning. The apartment is suitable for a maximum of 4 people. Bed linen, hand and tea towels and beach towels are provided in the apartment.
There are ample parking spaces at the front of the apartment complex. There is a bus stop 50 meters from our apartment. Paratico is located about 25 km from Bergamo, 25 km from Brescia and 80 km from Milan, 100 km from Verona and 200 km from Venice. Fast connection to the motorway 5 km from our apartment. About half an hour's drive and you are at Orio al Serio airport (Milan-Bergamo), including the Ryanair destination from Eindhoven and Charleroi. There is also a bus/train connection from Milan/Bergamo and Milan airports.
