Rustico Savignano

'Rustico Savignano' is a very quietly located holiday home in the middle of nature, where you can completely relax and only hear the sound of a waterfall, a variety of birds and the wind raging through the trees. You can also spot wildlife on a regular basis. Don't be surprised if you see a group of deer grazing in the grass a few meters away from the porch in the morning or if you see a group of boars or porcupines going through the bushes. In short, the holiday destination for nature lovers and people who want to escape their busy lives.

When you step out the door of Rustico Savignano you are confronted with a breathtaking view over the valley of the Savio River. From the porch you can see the city of Sarsina in the distance giving you the feeling that civilization is not far, yet far enough away to be aware of the peace and quiet around you. In the evening you can admire the often breathtaking sunsets from that same terrace and once it is dark you can see the brilliant lights of Sarsina.

The house was completely rebuilt in '95/'96. The name of the house, 'Rustico Savignano', refers to the rebuilt ruin in the village of Savignano di Rigo. This municipality is located in the province of Forli, which is located in the Emilia-Romagna region. You cross the border with the Le Marche region every day on your way to your groceries and the regions of Umbria and Tuscany are a few kilometers away by car. Very centrally located in relation to various well-known regions, but difficult to find in the books. That's a good thing, because that's why it's such an authentic part of Italy and not crowded by tourist flows. In short, here you will find the real Italy with its picturesque villages with coffee bars, artisan butchers and pastas 'della nonna'.

The house is fully equipped and tastefully decorated. There is central heating, a wood-burning stove and fans. A fridge with freezer, gas stove with electric oven, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine are part of the standard equipment of the kitchen.

Layout: living room (with satellite TV and bluetooth speaker) with open kitchen, bathroom with double sink, washing machine, large drying rack, toilet and shower, 1 bedroom (double bed and large wardrobe), 1 bedroom (2 bunk beds and wardrobe). The house is suitable for max. 6 people. There is also a camping bed and a high chair available on request. 

In front of the house is a large terrace in which the round swimming pool of 20m2 is located. Around the house is a spacious garden that opens into the Italian nature. There is plenty of garden furniture including two sunbeds, two easy chairs, a table with 6 chairs and a picnic set and hammock (under the veranda).

There has only recently been wifi available in the house. Due to the remote location, this has not been possible for a long time. However, keep in mind that the internet is not stable.

Shopping can be done in nearby Perticara (5 km), Novafeltria (10 km) or in Mercato Saraceno (7 km).
