La Bergerie

The Bergerie is an old barn built in 1773. During 6 winters (2017-2022) we have transformed this barn into a cozy and comfortable holiday home. Inside, the natural forms of the walls have largely been preserved and a large part of it is "pierre apparante" or added natural stone.
The house has a ground floor and a first floor. The wooden mezzanine floor has not been extended all the way through, so that there is a beautiful view of the rafters and beams of the roof from the kitchen.

On the ground floor there is a cozy kitchen/living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a spacious sitting area. The kitchen is fully equipped, such as an induction hob, a convection oven, a microwave, a double sink, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, etc. This living space is heated in early spring, autumn and during the winter with an elegant pallet stove.
On the ground floor there is also a bedroom with two single beds (90 x 200) and a spacious en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and a double sink. The toilet is separate from the bathroom.
In the utility room a washing machine and an extra fridge / freezer.

The ash wooden staircase takes you to the first floor where there is a beautiful view of the wooden roof construction everywhere. On this floor there is a second spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and double sink and there is also a second separate toilet.
The rest of this space is divided into a semi-closed bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200) and a lounge area with a comfortable sofa and television.

Behind the house is a spacious parking space and around the house there are three terraces, each in the sun or in the shade at a different time of the day. Each terrace has a seat.

You can swim unlimited and of course free of charge at our Lagoudalie campsite. The campsite is located in the municipality of Dégagnac, which is only a 5-minute drive away and the swimming pool is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

La Bergerie is completely detached and is surrounded by fields and forests. From the door it is wonderful walking and cycling. For fresh bread it is only 5 minutes by car or 10 minutes by bike and the first larger supermarket is only 8 km away.
