La Cigale is a cozy holiday home located on a quiet and natural domaine / campsite. It is one of two cottages located in the large, stone-built grange.
The cottage has a lot of privacy, and the 10 hectares of private grounds provide the ultimate peace and pure nature from the front door.

On the ground floor is a spacious kitchen with kitchen, dining area and living room. The rafters and trusses of the roof are beautiful to see from the sitting area. The kitchen is fully equipped and equipped with a 4-burner gas hob, refrigerator, oven, coffee maker, kettle, etc.

On the ground floor there is also a bedroom with two single beds (90 x 200) and a bathroom with shower and sink. The toilet is separate from the bathroom.

The wooden staircase leads to the loft where there are two single beds (90 x 200)

The cottage has a private terrace at the front with garden furniture with cushions and a parasol.

The swimming pool of the campsite is open between 10 am and 8 pm and is of course free to use.

Note: The house is not wheelchair accessible.

We are Anouk and René Kesseleer. In 2010 we moved to the French Pyrenees where we were the owners of a small-scale mountain hotel until the spring of 2022. At the beginning of 2022 we sold the mountain hotel and moved to the Lot where we have been the proud owners of Camping Lagoudalie since the end of November.
The holiday home "La Cigale" is a cozy and complete house where you can relax. It is also an ideal place for walkers and cyclists.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

GENERAL
The mentioned rental prices include the bed linen and kitchen linen, but exclude the mandatory cleaning of 70 €, and the tourist tax of 0.80 € per person per night.

The price does include bed linen, kitchen linen and the use of all the facilities of the campsite such as the swimming pool.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation more than 60 days before arrival: Full refund of the deposit rental amount, minus 50 Euro administration costs.
Cancellation between 60 and 0 days before the date of arrival: No right to a refund of the deposit of the rental amount. Full refund of any deposit already paid, tourist tax and cleaning costs.
Early departure: No right to a refund of the rental amount. No right to a refund of the tourist tax and cleaning costs. Of course, there is a refund of the deposit, provided that the rented property is left in good condition.

Endless (racing) cycling on quiet roads with good asphalt, breathtaking views and, for the enthusiast, the necessary height meters. This area is also a paradise for mountain biking. Ask for our tips and GPX tracks.

Canoe Raid Cenac is the place for a fantastic canoe or kayak experience on the Dordogne. A trip of 2 hours, 3 hours or even 5 hours takes you past castles, rock walls, idyllic villages, islands and beaches. You can enjoy all this beauty at your own pace and downstream. The water of the Dordogne is clear and ideal for swimming.

The beautiful castles along the Dordogne river, as well as the towns of Domme, La Roc Gageac and Salat are definitely worth a visit. If you prefer the river Lot, Cahors and St Cirq Lapopie are highly recommended. Closer to home there are numerous small villages with Romanesque churches and a picturesque center. Don't forget to visit the Zadkine museum in Les Arques.

This area is ideal for beautiful walks. Starting from the front door, or just by car, long or short, marked trails or just strolling. There is something for everyone. There are plenty of tips in the house. Also ask about our GPX tracks.
