Eco Design House Ducarinne is a very special holiday home where rustic French authenticity blends harmoniously with modern design. The house has been renovated with great care, resulting in a place where you can enjoy extraordinary luxury, modern comfort and a beautiful, versatile environment. Horse riding enthusiasts among you: you can bring your horse(s) for an additional fee!
Ducarinne is located in the province of Lot-et-Garonne, an up-and-coming region in southwestern France, probably best known for producing fantastic wines and local produce. The Lot-et-Garonne has not yet been discovered by mass tourism, unlike many other Southwestern regions, and this creates an authentic atmosphere.
What stands out are the influences of Scandinavian design combined with traditional French features, such as the wooden beams and the beautiful stone terrace.
Inside
There are five hotel-worthy bedrooms in Ducarinne, three of which are on the ground floor. These have modern bathrooms en suite with walk-in showers. The other two bedrooms, located on the first floor, share a bathroom. One bedroom on the ground floor (with bathroom en suite) is also fully equipped for wheelchair users.
In addition, there is an inviting living room with an attractive, very well-equipped kitchen and a large, long wooden table to dine together on the rarer chilly days. There is also a football game here. Throughout the house you can find black steel accents and beautiful wooden elements, which gives the whole a soothing and luxurious look. There are three movable fans, and a fixed ceiling fan in the living room.
Outside
Outside you will find a beautiful, huge and partially covered terrace (which is accessible through the sliding doors), for which original tiles have been used in the same shade as inside. This makes the living room seem even more spacious. The view from the terrace, surrounded by 5 hectares of private land, is nothing short of special.
There is a long outdoor dining table, perfect for al fresco dinners with the woodland landscape as a backdrop. There is also a 10 meter long swimming pool made of natural stone (and 6 meters wide!) and a pool house. In the garden you will also find comfortable sunbeds and lounge chairs, a BBQ, ping pong table and more than enough space for the children to play.
From the parking lot for several cars, a special path has been created for wheelchair users.
Environment
In this beautiful area there are several thermal baths, a golf course, riding stables, lakes, tennis courts and a boulodrome. A beautiful cycling route has been built at Casteljaloux.
