In the Hot Tub you will feel like you are in another world with the sound of the river in the background.

The house is illuminated in all its simplicity on the edge of the river where you will enjoy warm balmy summer evenings with the crickets and the splashing of water in the background.
The upstairs room on the ground floor may give you the feeling that you are stepping back in time. Many farms used to be equipped with this. A cocoon where you or your children can withdraw completely.
The delightful terrace has a long table where you can easily eat with 6 people. The plancha can be pulled over and the kitchen is within reach. Even in the evening it is wonderful to be here and the starry sky will amaze you.
The bathroom 'en pierre' with rain shower gives you the feeling as if you are standing between the rocks in the shower.
The sink is serene and practical where you can freshen up for any trip.
The lounge sofa where you can best enjoy the splashing water and sometimes a braying donkey.

One of the old-fashioned flush toilets has been given a new look and equipped with modern steel.
The alarm can also continue as required. There is sufficient space for displaying various devices.

The donkeys in the valley make themselves heard from time to time and are fond of stale bread.
The landscape is also enchanting in the fall and all the hues make a walk into a true experience.
The world famous pâté pomme de terre comes from this region and can be eaten with or without meat.

This picture of the surroundings means that you cannot wait to put on your hiking boots to discover all the greenery and the large amount of lakes and rivers.
Emoutiers is a characteristic place about 15 km from Masleon with nice local shops, bars and restaurants.
The distant views characterize the environment and are sometimes breathtaking.
The beautiful farmlands that are equipped with these beautiful hay bales in the summer. Typical French.
A multitude of flea markets means that no weekend passes in the summer or there is one in the neighborhood.
The various markets with local products (marché des producteurs) are very popular in the summer and worth a visit and be surprised by all kinds of local delicacies. Every Monday between 01-07 and 31-08, the market in ségur le chateau is definitely recommended!
Lac saint Hélène 5 km from the house. This is the place for swimming, pedal boating and eating.

Located on a beautiful carp pond, you can enjoy the culinary delights here. In the courtyard of the castle is the reception, a cozy terrace with bar, snack bar and a shop where fresh bread rolls can be ordered. Wednesday evening = musical evening

The living area boasts a truly authentic 'Drents bow cabinet', also known as a 'pastor's cabinet'. This unique, antique cabinet is made of oak and at the top of the cabinet is a round arch with a rising sun cut into the hood.
The French doors lead you to the covered terrace where there is a round table with 4 chairs. This place is very suitable for a delicious breakfast in the morning sun or an aperitif in the shade with a unique view of the beautiful nature.

To spoil our guests extra, we opted for a super facility on our South Terrace. How about a blissful warm water massage with 170 jet bubbles… in complete privacy? An adapted parasol is also provided to complete the comfort. You have to take care of the drink yourself - ;)
Sunday 10 Apr 22. Maxoutje just arrived with the TGV from Tourquoin to Limoges in 4h30min... and then water fun in our jacuzzi.... That's just arriving in a holiday home...!
Relax with a glass of rosé in the jacuzzi... Now that's really enjoying your holiday!

This Maria comes from café “De Prins” in Amsterdam. The whole house has surprising souvenirs from different countries and cities.
The curtains were made by my great-grandmother. Well, what does that look like... ;-)
