Quietly located nature cottage in the beautiful Limousin.

Surrounded by woods and meadows and with a beautiful garden. The garden is completely fenced so that a dog, should you bring it, can run free safely.

A narrow road leads to the house and ends where the house stands and the forest begins. There is only one other house on that same road.

The house is comfortable. There is a spacious, attractive living/dining room with open kitchen. On the ground floor there is also a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.

An open staircase leads to the first floor. There is a bedroom with a double bed. There are two more single beds on the landing so that the house can also accommodate four people. We can provide a cot.

We, Letty and Leo, have been living and working in De Haute Vienne since 2002.

We both worked in education, but in recent years we have been growing microgreens for restaurants.

Now that the retirement age is rapidly approaching, we have started to reflect on our living situation.

This led to the purchase of Las Abbayas for when the time has come when our farm becomes too large and too laborious for us.

This is not yet the case and we are happy to offer Abbayas for rent.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for whatever reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if, for example, this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone). Landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

Cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
Cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will no longer use the rented property, he will continue to owe the full rent.

The deposit is € 150.
Electricity costs are charged at € 0.28 per KWh upon departure.
The final cleaning costs € 60.
