In the middle of the forests of the Perigord Noir, less than 10 km from the famous medieval town of Sarlat de Canéda, lies Domaine de Carsac, a small and quietly located park with swimming pool and tennis court. Here you will find our house Sur la Cave near the Dordogne river.
Sur la Cave is a spacious holiday home for up to 6 people and has 2 private parking spaces. Our house has several sunny terraces and a beautifully landscaped enclosed garden of approximately 300 m2. This means that you can fully enjoy your peace and nature.
Our garden house also has 2 bicycles and a BBQ that you can use for free. You will be personally welcomed by Sylvie, who will show you around the house.
On the ground floor there is the living room with a cozy seating area and library on a wooden floor, as well as the open kitchen with a practical, partly folding dining table, suitable for 6 people. Through the French doors you enter one of the sunny terraces from both the seating area and the dining area. The fresh bathroom is adjacent to the kitchen. This is equipped with a spacious shower corner, large sink and toilet.
Via the stairs in the living room you reach a double bedroom with 2 single beds. When you open the French shutters in the morning, you look out over Domaine de Carsac. Above the kitchen there is a loft with a double bed and a bunk bed. There is also a camping bed for the little ones. Optionally you can rent bed and bath linen from us.
The furnishings are fully equipped to make your stay as pleasant as possible. This includes TV with satellite receiver, WiFi, Nespresso coffee machine, combination microwave, ceramic hob, electric heating, washing machine, ironing board/iron, tennis rackets, bicycles and barbecue.
Domaine de Carsac also has a lot to offer for sports enthusiasts. You can make free use of the illuminated swimming pool, approximately 20x10 meters, and the tennis court (the tennis rackets are available in our house). The entire area is also ideal for many activities such as cycling, basketball, skating, walking, running, canoeing and kayaking. The former railway lines have been converted into good cycling and walking paths.
