Fermette en France is a detached holiday home in a small and quiet village in Burgundy (Cote d'Or). The courtyard with terrace and several seating areas is private for our guests. It can be closed by a gate and is completely walled. The village has no shops or restaurants, but these can be found in the immediate vicinity (Montbard, Semur-en-Auxois). There is a bakery in the village 3 times a week where you can buy oven-fresh croissants and baguettes.
You can relax in this oasis of peace. If you want a little more entertainment, there are many places of interest in the area. Dijon, capital of Burgundy, is also recommended for a day trip.
Ideal for nature lovers, walkers, cyclists. Dogs are welcome, after consultation.
The holiday home is opposite a castle.
Due to the construction of the house, stairs are unavoidable.

Prices are based on 1-4 people.
Our gîte can accommodate up to 4 guests. 
Your baby up to 2 years old is free. High chair and baby bath available free of charge.
For guests aged 18 and over, there is a surcharge for tourist tax of € 1.55 p.p.p.n.
Your pet is welcome, we accept a maximum of  2 pets.
Pets € 3,- per pet per day.

The historic heart of the city of Troyes makes you feel like you're in the Middle Ages. Through narrow alleys you will discover the Cathedral of St. Pierre St. Paul and the Basilica of St. Urbain. Here you will find a varied range of shops and boutiques.

Semur en Auxois is beautifully built on a hill and offers a beautiful view over the valley and the fast-flowing river Armancon. Nice medieval streets with restaurants. Galleries and shops. Beautiful Notre Dame. Museum with a wealth of collections, a journey back in time.
Chablis is one of the most popular wines. The route from Bissey to Chablis is beautiful and every Sunday morning there is a market where you can buy local products and taste Chablis.
The village of Essoyes in the Aube is inextricably linked to the work of Pierre-Auguste Renoir, who spent all his summers here from 1881 onwards. In the charming village a walk has been set out from the museum, his house, studio and the cemetery where he is buried with his family.
