The village of Mosson is a small village with approx. 75 inhabitants. It is 8 km from the town of Châtillon sur Seine where all facilities and large supermarkets can be found. There is an artisanal market on Saturdays with regional products. The region is now part of the newly established "Parc National des Forets de Champagne et Bourgogne", which will bring even more attention to the protection and conservation of nature.
Our farm is located on the edge of the village with a beautiful view of the area. The site has a walled courtyard, making it ideal for small children.
The farm consists of two houses located on a large courtyard. The small house, Va et Vien, has a séjour, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. There is a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. There is also a utility room with washing machine, dryer and freezer.

The village of Mosson is located on the Route de Cremant. In the village there are two wine jewels Gheeraert and Hanusek. Both sell Cremant Burgundy, but also white-red wine and Ratafia. The grape varieties are Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Cremant de Burgundy is blindly tasted almost indistinguishable from Champagne. Furthermore, the house is on plm. 10 km from the Champagne region with nice affordable Champagnes, 50 km from the Chablis (which is very worthwhile) and about 1.5 hours from the Grand Crus at Beaune. There are good and nice restaurants in the area. In the neighboring village of Courban is the prestigious "Chateau de Courban" where you can dine gourmet. If you want more of a sturdy pot, there is an Alsatian restaurant in the village of Dancevoir called "Le Nid de Cicognes". Also worth the visit is the "Le Sabot de Venus" restaurant in Bure-le-templiers.

At a distance of 20 km there are three good quality golf courses. Possibly golf clubs can be hired.

Cycling is excellent in the area. Bicycles are available, but own bicycles are preferred. Furthermore, Mosson is on the GR2 hiking route of the Grande Randonnee large network. The GR2 starts at the origin of the Seine and ends at Rouen in the North Sea.
