A modern barn conversion offering comfort, peace and tranquillity in the small village of Frôlois with a population of just 175. The property is nestled deep in the countryside of the Côte d'Or region in Burgundy.
Light, bright accommodation furnished to the owners' high standards, sleeps a total of 5 people in 3 elegant bedrooms. The master, a double room (bed 180 x 200) has outstanding views across the valley, ample storage, co-ordinating furniture and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom is a spacious twin bedded room (beds 90 x 200) also with great views, lots of storage and an en-suite shower room up a few steps. For our fifth guest there is a cosy single bedroom with its own WC and basin across the hall, a delight for an extra relative or sibling. If needed, a baby cot may be added to either of the larger bedrooms.
The owners live in the house next door, they can provide information on all the local attractions, and arrange private wine tastings nearby. Bread is baked daily and can be delivered warm to your window sill. inquire for details.
Our younger guests are just as important to us. To make their stay comfortable we have a cot with a new mattress and pretty linens. We also have a high chair, toddler chairs, Baby-Dan play pen, changing mat, microwave oven, plastic cups and plates, baby listening monitor, step for the bathroom, potties and a selection of toys, games and books for all ages. Bespoke children's meals can be provided by the owners by prior arrangement. Please ask if you need other specialized equipment provided.
Take some of the 'self' out of self catering and have the owners prepare some home made cuisine for you during your stay. Bespoke dishes and menus available. We are pet friendly so please ask about your pets joining you for a stay at The Barn.
