Nice things to know about Montaña Abou
- Montaña Abou means something like "Lower Montaña ". It is part of the Montaña ("Mountain") district. It was once an independent village and is now a suburb of Willemstad.
- Other neighbourhoods in Montaña are Hoenderberg, Beurs, Lang Leven, Montaña Rey, Oudewater, Gustavia, Katoentuin and Welgelegen.
- One of the oldest country houses on Curaçao is Knip or ‘Kenepa’, named after the fruit of the Kenepa tree.
