Great was our surprise on this morning on January 2; Not a flake of snow the day before! It has been years that it snows just after the turn of the year. Very special to wake up in such weather!

You can clearly see the demarcation of the spruce forests where you can encounter deer or wild boar in the early morning or early evening. Spotting a red deer is impressive and this because of their size.
A spruce forest with meter-high dead straight spruce trees. It is always so pleasant to walk through. The paths are soft because of the fallen needles from before.
On the edge of the coniferous forests you can find the red mushroom with white dots (the fly agaric) in large numbers. This mushroom is poisonous. There are no adverse consequences of just touching.
