Beautifully furnished, very complete holiday home with very spacious terrace for sun worshippers. For those who don't like the sun, plenty of space and in tropical temperatures like we had, the house stays very cool.

Beautifully furnished, very complete holiday home with very spacious terrace for sun worshippers. For those who don't like the sun, plenty of space and in tropical temperatures like we had, the house stays very cool.
Within walking distance of the center, get fresh rolls for breakfast and plenty of nice restaurants.
One small downside is that the bathroom for those who sleep in the (small) second bedroom -with bunk beds- is only accessible via the "master bedroom".

We were in June 22 for a few days in the Penthouse Holgenbach (Eifel) and can only recommend this accommodation to everyone.

Hi Mieke & Eelco, thank you for staying in your beautiful home. It was a great week. Lovely large terrace where we enjoyed the May sun and the panoramic view and our daughters enjoyed themselves for hours on the trampo. We have been able to make beautiful walks from the house, but highly recommended is 'der wilde weg' from Vogelsang (Kermeter mountain ridge), a fun and interactive nature trail. And the viewpoint 'Hirschley' with beautiful panoramic views. The house is also a good base for day trips to Bonn, Cologne or Aachen. Enough fun to come back again!

The Penthouse Holgenbach is quiet, but ideally suited as a starting point for hikes and otherwise. Activities ( wildlife enclosure or Phantasialand ). It is very well equipped, much is as good as new, some is older (the kitchen in particular) but modernized and made chic. Kitchen cabinets, for example, are old, but painted, but everything still works. The exchange with the landlords was fast, nice and uncomplicated. The garage is a plus. The terrace certainly too, but not in October ;-)
Overall, I can recommend the penthouse.

Beautiful, very spacious and well-cared for upper floor. It is fully equipped and is located in a beautiful wooded location against a hill. Unfortunately, we were forced to postpone our stay in this penthouse a few times due to the Corona pandemic. The owners, with whom the contact was easy and very pleasant, have been very cooperative in this. They also proactively provide good information. We enjoyed our stay in penthouse Holgenbach and can recommend this to everyone.

We spent 2 weeks in the beautiful penthouse holgenbach of Eelco and Mieke. The Penthouse is beautifully located in a quiet area on a cul-de-sac. The large balcony is certainly an added value for this penthouse and it also offers a beautiful view of the surroundings. Schleiden is also a good starting point for beautiful tours and nice castle towns to visit. For us, this means that we will definitely come back!
