Villa Im Bongert Nationalpark Eifel

VILLA IM BONGERT is a lovely (family) home with plenty of space both inside and outside and fully equipped. Located at the gate of the Eifel National Park and within walking distance of the center of Hellenthal.

Due to its layout and dimensions, Villa Im Bongert is particularly suitable for a large family, holiday with 3 generations, 3 couples, friends who want to enjoy all the activities and nature in the Eifel together, etc.

The house has a large living room with a lovely large seating area and wood-burning stove, large dining area and a modern spacious kitchen with a dishwasher, combination microwave, induction hob and fridge-freezer. The house has two spacious bedrooms with a double bed (both with 2 single mattresses) and one bedroom with a bunk bed. There is a bathroom with a walk-in shower, hanging toilet and double sink. On the ground floor, in addition to the spacious entrance, there is a large lounge area with 2 large armchairs, sofa and door to the garden for relaxing. There is a large garden around the villa spread over three floors. Next to the living floor there is a garden with dining table, chairs, lounge armchairs, BBQ, wood stove and a trampoline for the children. One floor below there is a garden with a picnic table and a lovely place for the hammock. Downstairs there is a garden for the children with a play area with slide and swing.

There is free WiFi, Smart TV (incl. Chromecast so watch everything you are used to watching at home by streaming from your phone/tablet or log in to the Netflix apps etc.) and cable TV channels available. There is free parking (including a garage).

The regional energy provider e-regio is continuously expanding the network of charging points. The car can be charged at more and more places in the Eifel. There are also (fast) charging points within a short walking distance from Villa Im Bongert in Hellenthal.

If you rent Villa Im Bongert, there will be no other guests present and you will have all the space and privacy both inside and outside. All areas in the photos and as described above are available to relax and enjoy with the whole family or friends.

Possibility to book an extra bathroom with toilet + spacious bedroom with a double bed (with 2 single mattresses) on the ground floor.
So standard 3 bedrooms + 1 bathroom (as described above) and can be expanded with 1 extra bedroom + bathroom (see rates for this extra option).

For your own comfort, we have set the maximum maximum of 6 people per stay as standard. If you use the option to rent the extra bedroom + bathroom on the ground floor, the maximum is 8 people (max 6 adults + 2 children) per stay.

Villa Im Bongert is located in Hellenthal, within walking distance and less than 500 meters from the center. There are several restaurants and supermarket/shops including a new large Aldi just 300 meters away.

In the spring, thousands of wild daffodils bloom in Hollerath. In winter you can enjoy the Weisser Stein winter sports area in Udenbreth. You can walk and cycle directly from the house. The Olefthalsperre is 500 meters away. A 13.5 kilometer long walking and cycling route runs around this beautiful reservoir which continues to the Belgian border. You will find various walking and cycling trails on the site of the municipality of Hellenthal. The Wildfreigehege, which is almost in our backyard, offers a beautiful environment with the famous bird of prey/owl show, many other animals and a playground.

There is much to discover and do in the area. A visit to Aachen, Cologne, Bonn, Koblenz, Trier and Maastricht are recommended. All cities can be reached within an hour to just over an hour by car. Or visit the wine regions of the Ahrthal or the Moselle. Other tips: Monschau, Blankenheim and Bad Münstereifel (beautiful half-timbered villages), Nürburgring, Phantasialand, Rursee, Kronenburger See, Kyllradweg and Vennbahn.

This makes the villa particularly suitable for a large family, a holiday with 3 generations, 2 families, etc. The 2 separate apartments mean you can enjoy a getaway together, but there is also the option for privacy.
