Welcome to Villa Im Bongert

Enjoy peace, space and a warm, homely atmosphere in Villa Im Bongert: a detached holiday villa at the gateway to the Eifel National Park. Villa Im Bongert was the place where our love for the Eifel began. What was once a holiday home for our own use has grown into a popular holiday villa since 2020 where we enjoy receiving guests from home and abroad. Many guests have already had a nice holiday here, which is also reflected in the many positive reviews on the various rental platforms.

Villa Im Bongert is ideal for families, multiple generations, couples or friends who want to enjoy peace, space, nature, privacy and a comfortable stay in the Eifel together.

Spacious and comfortable stay

The spacious living room with large sitting area and wood stove forms the cozy heart of the villa. In addition, you have a spacious dining area and a modern, fully equipped kitchen where you can cook and dine together. On the ground floor there is also a separate lounge, a nice place to quietly read a book, play a game or relax.

Layout of the villa

As standard, Villa Im Bongert has approximately 190 m² of living space, spacious cozy living room with wood stove, spacious dining area, modern, fully equipped kitchen, extra utility room with storage space, three spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds (2 double beds and 1 bunk bed), a modern bathroom with walk-in shower, double sink and toilet, a separate lounge area on the ground floor, separate laundry room with washing machine and dryer and detached garage.

For larger families or multiple generations, Villa Im Bongert can be expanded with an extra spacious bedroom and a second bathroom on the ground floor. For example, the villa can accommodate up to 8 people (up to 6 adults and 2 children), while smaller groups only pay for the space they use. A limited additional cost applies to this expansion. Enjoy the outdoors

Around the villa is a large garden on three levels. Right next to the living floor there is a spacious terrace with dining table, comfortable chairs, barbecue, wood stove and a trampoline. On the lower level you will find a picnic table and a lovely place for a hammock. At the bottom of the garden is a play area with swing and slide. There is a nice place for everyone to relax or enjoy the outdoors together.

Quietly located and yet close to everything

Villa Im Bongert is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Hellenthal, less than 500 metres from the centre. Restaurants, shops and a large Aldi are easily accessible on foot. From the villa you can walk or cycle almost directly into nature. Various walking and cycling routes can also be found in the immediate vicinity, so you can regularly leave the car at home.

Discover the Eifel

Hellenthal is located at the gateway to the Eifel National Park and is an ideal base for hiking, cycling, mountain biking and motorcycling. The Oleftalsperre, the Wildfreigehege Hellenthal, Monschau, the Rursee, Kronenburger See, the Vennbahn and the Nürburgring are all within easy reach. Aachen, Cologne, Bonn, Trier, Maastricht and the wine regions of the Ahr Valley and Moselle are also excellent for a day trip. 

Each season has its own charm. In spring, thousands of wild daffodils bloom, in summer the lakes and outdoor pools invite you to swim and relax, autumn colours the forests in beautiful shades and in winter the Weißer Stein offers winter sports opportunities when there is enough snow.
