Enjoy peace, space, comfort and a beautiful view together in Villa Holgenbach: a spacious holiday home in Schleiden, on the edge of the Eifel National Park and within walking distance of the center. The villa consists of two self-contained apartments that can be rented together as one holiday home. This makes Villa Holgenbach particularly suitable for two families, several generations or friends who want to spend their holidays together, but also value privacy and their own place.

Villa Holgenbach will be completely energetically renovated into an energy-efficient house (A+) in 2024-2025. The house is equipped with triple glazing, high-quality insulation of the walls and the roof protects against both heat and cold, a heat pump, solar panels, new radiators and electrically operated shutters. This makes the villa a lot of comfort in every season. At the same time, the outdoor spaces have been further improved with an attractive canopy on the large terrace of the penthouse and a spacious balcony at the apartment on the ground floor.

Staying together, with room for privacy

Penthouse Holgenbach is located on the top floor and Apartment Holgenbach on the ground floor. Both have their own living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom and outdoor space. This way you can go on holiday together and at the same time enjoy the peace and privacy of two independent apartments.

The penthouse is the more spacious of the two and is a wonderful place to get together with the whole group. The spacious living room with wood-burning stove, the spacious dining area and the separate dining room offer plenty of space to eat and relax together. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need to cook and dine together. For larger groups, there is plenty of crockery and an extra large refrigerator. You can also enjoy the outdoors at the large dining table on the spacious terrace with beautiful views of the surroundings.

Layout of the villa

Penthouse Holgenbach has two bedrooms: one spacious bedroom with a large double bed and one bedroom with a bunk bed. In addition, you will find a spacious living room with large wood stove and sofa bed, a spacious dining area, separate dining room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower and a separate toilet. The large terrace of approximately 90 m² offers several sitting, dining and relaxing areas, a Weber barbecue and a trampoline.

Apartment Holgenbach has two bedrooms with double beds, a living room, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. From the kitchen you walk directly onto the spacious balcony/terrace with dining table, comfortable seating and Weber barbecue.

When Villa Holgenbach is rented in its entirety, a maximum of 8 adults per stay applies for your comfort.

Villa Holgenbach is located in a quiet street in Schleiden, about 500 metres from the centre with restaurants and shops. From the house you can walk or cycle almost directly into nature; The cul-de-sac ends in the green after about 300 meters. The Erlebnisfreibad Dieffenbach is also within walking distance.

Discover the Eifel

Schleiden is located in the middle of the beautiful Eifel and is an ideal base for hiking, cycling, mountain biking and relaxing enjoyment of nature and space. Well-known routes such as the Eifelsteig, Wilderness Trail and Rur-Olef run through the municipality. Monschau, the Rursee, Nürburgring, Vennbahn, Kronenburger See and the Wildfreigehege Hellenthal are also within easy reach. Aachen, Cologne, Bonn, Trier, Maastricht and the wine regions of the Ahr Valley and Moselle are excellent for a day trip.
