It was bad, I know, but plenty to do in the area. Too bad the restaurant was closed.
The cottage was pleasant and everything was there except a pestle which was missing in the kitchen

We thought it was a nice holiday home with all the trimmings.
There is a lot to see in the area.
We were there in the very hot holiday period but there is shade from the surrounding trees all day.

A wonderful place to really relax! Yes, there is a road behind the house, but we really didn't have much trouble with it. Surrounded by trees, and a little further from where the cars drive gave us some privacy and tranquility....
We very much enjoyed the Fochteloërveen around the corner, and Veenhuizen nearby. The cottage is simple, but fine to stay in.
