Suitable for 4-6 people and 1 pet allowed. At a short distance is a sauna complex, swimming pool and recreational lake. The rural village of Boijl is surrounded by Frisian meadows and Drentse forests and is located on the edge of the Drentse Friese Wold National Park. In the middle of the Colonies of Benevolence, which recently received World Heritage status from UNESCO. The three colonies of Frederiksoord, Veenhuizen and Wilhelminaoord are certainly worth a visit. A beautiful walking and cycling area with varied landscapes of forest, heath and peat.

The surrounding Frisian and Drenthe villages are Borger, Diever, Appelscha, Vledder, Noordwolde and Dwingeloo which are definitely worth a visit and where there are many restaurants and plenty of activities are organized.
