Holiday homes in Casibari

Casibari is a small place in the Paradera region in the middle of Aruba. Here you will find the authentic atmosphere of the island, where the sun always shines and nobody is in a hurry. The friendly people will immediately make you feel at home. Your holiday home is the perfect base to explore the entire island. One of the highlights is literally just around the corner: the famous Casibari rock formation. A park has been created around this natural phenomenon and you can climb the rocks yourself. And that is just the beginning of your holiday, because there is much more to be discovered. So don’t wait to book a holiday home in Casibari. With Micazu, you always rent directly from the owner, which is often a lot cheaper.

Discover Aruba from your holiday home

Casibari is not directly on the beach, so it’s still nice and quiet even during the high season. A rental car is a great way to visit all the sights of Aruba. It will only take you ten minutes to get to the famous beaches of Palm Beach or Eagle Beach. Here you will find excellent facilities for swimming, windsurfing and almost all other water sports. All along the coast you will also find many beautiful places for diving and snorkelling. Like to do some serious shopping? Visit lovely Oranjestad, which offers a wide choice of restaurants and museums. Or take a trip to one of the other nice places in the area, like Paradera and Rooi Afo.

Nice things to know about Casibari

  • The Casibari rock formation is impressive and beautiful. But it is not the largest in Aruba: the Avo rock formation is - which is only a few kilometres away.
  • The name Casibari comes from "cas di baril", which means something like "the tin house". An islander probably once bought a few empty oil barrels and used them to build a house here.
  • A local sweet delicacy is ‘djente di kachó’: chunks of coconut meat cooked in sugar syrup.
  • Aruba has two native snake species, the Santanero and the poisonous Cascabe.
