If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for whatever reason, the tenant must always confirm this
to the landlord by e-mail (even if, for example, this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone). Landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of
writtencancellation by the tenant :
- Cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
- Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
- Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
- Cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will no longer use the rented property, he will continue to owe the full rent. Example 2:If, for whatever reason, the tenant is unable or unwilling to accept the rented property on the agreed date, he must inform the landlord immediately. A telephone notification of this must
always be confirmed
to the landlord in writing or by email. If the tenant cancels the agreement in the period up to 6 weeks before the start date of the rental period, he will still owe 30% of the rent; in case of cancellation up to 4 weeks 40% and from 2 weeks until the start date of the rental period 90%.
