Lovely and comfortable wooden mountain chalet with a magnificent view of the Rinderberg. Cozy living room with fireplace and an open kitchen fully equipped. Three nice bedrooms, one with a bunk bed. Two bathrooms, both with bath and a separate toilet. A beautiful private terrace with garden furniture and a BQQ. Only 5 minutes walk to the center of Zweisimmen and to the gondola.

From the house there are great hiking opportunities. In summer, it's just a 10-minute walk to a lovely outdoor public pool – great for families with kids, but also a lovely pool where adults can swim laps. In winter there is an excellent ski area connected to Saanenmöser and Schönried, and st Stephan. Zweisimmen is also close to the well-known villages of Gstaad and Lenk
Private parking. In the basement there is a washing machine and dryer.

Please note that this chalet is not suitable for disabled people, people with walking difficulties or elderly people who have difficulty walking or climbing stairs. The Chalet is only accessible by stairs.

We have been coming here for many years (since the early 70s) and are very attached to this chalet. We are happy to rent out our beloved family chalet to families in the summer and winter periods when we cannot be there ourselves.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for whatever reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if, for example, this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone). Landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of writtencancellation by the tenant :

Cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
Cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will no longer use the rented property, he will continue to owe the full rent. Example 2:If, for whatever reason, the tenant is unable or unwilling to accept the rented property on the agreed date, he must inform the landlord immediately. A telephone notification of this must always be confirmed to the landlord in writing or by email.If the tenant cancels the agreement in the period up to 6 weeks before the start date of the rental period, he will still owe 30% of the rent; in case of cancellation up to 4 weeks 40% and from 2 weeks until the start date of the rental period 90%.
