In the lovely Obersimmental, in the middle of the beautiful hiking and skiing area of Zweisimmen-Gstaad and Adelboden-Lenk, our comfortable apartment is located at an altitude of 1000 meters in the non-touristy, authentic church village of Ried, part of the municipality of Sankt Stephan.
Our apartment is a perfect location for enjoying nature, culture, sports and relaxation, both in summer and winter. The chalet:
Chalet Wystättblick has four apartments. In 2008 we bought an apartment, which we use with our family all seasons of the year. In 2018 we had the opportunity to buy the neighboring apartment for our growing family. We rent out this second apartment, with a beautiful view over the valley and the mountains, when we are not using it ourselves. It is a 4 ½ room apartment of 100 m² and is suitable for 5 to 6 people.
Location:
In our opinion, the chalet is ideally located. It is easily accessible in summer and winter by both car and public transport. It is a few minutes' walk from the Stöckli train station on the Zweisimmen-Lenk line. The cycle path runs on one side of the house and the cross-country ski trail on the other. The ski bus stop in front of the door will take you to Lenbrand at a higher altitude. From there the chairlift takes you to Parwengensattel at 2000 meters in the beautiful Zweisimmen-Gstaad ski area.
The Lenk-Adelboden ski area can also be reached in 20 minutes and the super-fast Metschbahn takes you to 2000 meters in no time. Those who don't feel like cooking can go to hotel-restaurant Diana, Hüsi or the Chemistube, among others. The bakery and village shop Gübeli is 1.3 km towards Lenk. Supermarkets such as Migros, Coop and Aldi are a 5-minute drive away in Zweisimmen.
From November 2023, public transport in the Simmental and Saanenland will be included in the tourist tax all year round!
