Spacious apartment in Torrox Costa , Andalusia (approximately 60 km east of Málaga on the Costa del Sol).

The apartment is 70 m2, has a spacious balcony with a piece of sea and mountain view, one spacious bedroom and a large living room with a double sofa bed (140x200). The apartment is equipped with television, wifi, air conditioning. It is a non-smoking apartment, and pets are not allowed.

Playa Laguna is located in a holiday complex (Laguna Beach) with beautiful gardens, several swimming pools (including a covered and heated one), padel and tennis courts which you can use for free. You can walk straight onto the beach from the complex! Next to it is the boulevard with nice bars and all kinds of restaurants. The boulevard is more than 2 kms long and at several spots, including one in front of the complex, you can hire 'hamacas', sunbeds for a small price. Don't forget to hang out in the chiringuitos, the beach bars.

On the complex there are two small supermarkets, bars and restaurants. It is just a short walk to a big supermarket, Mercadona. On Mondays there is the local market of Torrox Costa on the parking beside the complex.

We are Petra and Wim, we live and work in the Netherlands. We spent a year looking around in Spain and Portugal and we found our dream place just east of Malaga. We bought this apartment because Laguna Beach is a well-known complex with great facilities. We hope many people can enjoy our apartment as much as we do. Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Our prices include:
water
electricity
good WiFi connection
TV with international channels
channel
bath and kitchen linen
air conditioning: 105kW per week for free (enough for normal use), the costs for additional consumption are €0.45 per kW. There is a kWh meter in the apartment so you can check your consumption.
use of the pools (seasonal but one is always open unless there is special maintenance or government restriction)

Cancellation:
If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this to the host via email (even if this has already been communicated to the host by telephone, for example). The host will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 2 months before the start of the rental period: 15%
cancellation between the 60th and 30th day before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price

If the renter only informs the host on the start date or during the rental period that they will not (or no longer) use the rented object, they remain liable for the full rental price.

The village of Torrox Costa itself has a beautiful boulevard that is car-free and where you can enjoy the most beautiful restaurants every day and evening as well as the beautiful beach and unimaginably beautiful sunsets.

Then there is nearby the beautiful village of Nerja. Nerja is 8 kilometers away and has the famous Balcon d'Europa and also the caves of Nerja, where our ancestors already knew 30,000 years ago where the most beautiful places can be found.
Within an hour's drive via the highway you are in Granada, where a visit to the Alhambra is very worthwhile. Or in the beautiful mountain area, the Sierra Nevada, where you can enjoy beautiful cycling and driving routes, walks and villages that seem to come straight from the Middle Ages. In winter you can ski well here. So you can easily spend one day on the beach in the sun and the next day in the snow.

The city of Malaga, with its famous beaches, the Picasso Museum and the beautiful old town with its beautiful tapas bars, is also worth a visit. A little further up into the mountains is the town of Ronda, waiting to be explored with its famous bridge over the gorge.
