Casa Cresta: House of the Kuijven. How we enjoy this fantastic place in southern Spain and maybe you will too! 


The luxury penthouse is beautifully situated 200m from the Alcazaba Lagoon, restaurants and gym. At this exclusive residence you can really relax: you can recharge your batteries under the Spanish sun. The park is beautifully landscaped with tropical gardens and several swimming pools. Here you will not see high-rise buildings but attractive apartments surrounded by lots of greenery. The manager often greets us with "Welcome to Paradise!"

From the spacious terrace of 137m² (!) you look out over the Mediterranean Sea and the lagoon that you can use for free as a guest. It is surrounded by a tropical white sandy beach and there  are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. In addition to swimming, you can also go pedal boating, canoeing and supping for free on the lagoon. There is even a sauna and there are several hot tubs. The gym is also located here. For owners and tenants there is a special entrance to the private beach. At the Lagoon there are 2 beautiful restaurants where you can have a delicious lunch or dinner. 

It is perfect to stay around the penthouse: from sunrise to sunset you can sit in the sun or in the shade. There are 4 sunbeds, 4 extra outdoor chairs, an outdoor table with 6 chairs and a lounge set at the rear to enjoy the sunset. 

The penthouse has 2 bedrooms: a master bedroom with fitted wardrobes and ensuite bathroom, and a bedroom with fitted wardrobes and separate luxury bathroom. The double beds in the two bedrooms can be split and made separately on request. In addition, two extra folding beds and/or a baby cot can be placed. The house has of course wifi and air conditioning, a modern kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, large fridge and freezer. There is also access to a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, ironing board and iron. 

The private parking spaces that you can use for free are located in the underground parking garage of the complex. Here is also the possibility to park your golf buggy and from the parking basement the house can be reached via an elevator. 

Within a 15-minute drive from Casa Cresta you will find a Mercadona and a Carrefour, several golf courses and charming Estepona. The coastal town of Marbella (35 min.) and international airports Malaga (60 min.) and Gibraltar (45 min.) are also easily accessible via the AP7 toll road or the A7 motorway.

We are 2 couples who bought this fantastic penthouse in Estepona and we decided to rent it out so everyone can experience this special place.

We have been coming to the south of Spain for years and decided in April 2023 to buy this beautiful house together.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The accommodation includes electricity and water.

Annul:
The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:
  • cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
  • Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
  • Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price
  • cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, he will continue to owe the full rent.

You will encounter this, for example, if you dare to make the beautiful mountain trip.
We loved it!
What beautiful plants and trees you will find in the palaces of Cordoba!
You can eat delicious food at the Lagoon!
There are 2 restaurants.
Near our apartment in San Pedro de Alcantara you will find Canyoning TUUR.
Gibraltar is highly recommended.
At 55 km from our apartment a piece of England between Spain and Morocco.
The mountain with the cable car up is very beautiful. With views to the ports and you can almost touch Morocco. Furthermore, the old cannons and the marl caves on the Rock are definitely worth a visit.
The center of Gibraltar is really English and super cozy!
Estepona is a very nice town 10 minutes drive from our apartment.
Beautifully landscaped gardens and everything looks well cared for.
On Sunday morning there is a nice market in the port of Estepona.
The center of Estepona is bustling and has nice restaurants and nice atmospheric squares and a beautiful boulevard.
On Thursday morning there is a very nice market in San Pedro. After the market you can drive to the beach in 5 minutes and you can sunbathe and have lunch at the many beach bars along the promenade of the beach.
