We wish you a warm welcome to Casa Jara , a uniquely restored and very spacious house in the cozy hamlet of Los Ventorros near Comares.

What makes this house so special is that, although located in a small hamlet, it is still surrounded by natural beauty and also the tasteful furnishings done by the owner's daughter. Spacious yet cozy, colorful yet soothing. A great place to spend a wonderful holiday with friends and family or even with your yoga or cycling group.
There is room for everything: socializing and enjoying together, but also privacy, on terraces and balconies or in one of the cozy sitting areas.
Casa Jara has 5 bedrooms (each in a different style), four of which open onto a balcony. There are 2 fully equipped bathrooms (toilet, bidet, bath/shower, sink), a spacious kitchen with breakfast area, a spacious living room with comfortable sofas around a cozy fireplace, and dining area for 10 people. There is a cozy lounge on the 1st floor that opens onto a balcony, the perfect place to play a game or read a book.
There is smart TV and free WIFI in the house.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, induction hob, electric oven, microwave and all the essentials. There is a washing machine.
Through the living room you reach the pool area with a lovely swimming pool and spacious terrace with plenty of sun loungers and a dining area.
The view of the surrounding mountains brings peace and you can take wonderful walks from the immediate vicinity of the house.
A 10-minute drive from the house is the protected nature reserve of the Montes de Malaga (if you have cycling enthusiasts in your party, this is the route often ridden in the Vuelta de Andalucia ). It is also wonderful to drive from Comares straight through this nature reserve to the center of the pleasant city of Malaga by car.
Within walking distance of the house are 2 bars/restaurants where you can not only enjoy a delicious meal, but also often have a music evening at the weekend.

Casa Jara is located just 3.5 km from the beautiful whitewashed village of Comares, declared 'Pueblo Magico d'España'. Only after 1 visit you will understand why...
Comares, at an altitude of 700 meters, is a typical Andalusian white village with narrow streets. Follow the ceramic footsteps that lead you to spectacular views or surprising places with every step you take. Comares is surrounded by a beautiful landscape, full of impressive native trees and beautiful paths that invite you to walk and enjoy nature. Many guests come here to cycle, mountain bike or... just relax.
There is a supermarket, cash machine, pharmacy and several bars and restaurants in the village. The view from the balcony in the center of the village is breathtaking and you can see the Mediterranean Sea.

Only 35 minutes by car will take you to the famous beach of Torre del Mar. Eat cracking fresh fish in one of the many chiringuitos or enjoy a delicious ice cream while walking along the beautiful promenade.

Velez Malaga, which is right next to it, has a large commercial center and many supermarkets.

During a day trip you can visit all the tourist highlights of Andalusia such as Malaga, cultural and gastronomic capital with its streets full of beautiful facades, immersed in history. Or how about a visit to Granada and the beautiful Alhambra palace? The famous Caminito del Rey in Ardales takes you through the gorges of El Chorro. Cordoba with the Mezquita is unique in the world. A cathedral built in a mosque.
