Villa José 2 is surrounded by the typical Andalusian almond and olive groves. The view from the house is fantastic as it is surrounded by the incredibly beautiful nature, which is so characteristic of the interior of Andalusia. Just 40 minutes from the busier coastline, you will find yourself in an oasis of natural beauty and tranquillity.

The villa is located on a country lane but not too far from restaurants, bars or shops. You'll find it in the nearby hamlet of Los Ventorros and the award-winning, typically white Andalusian village, Comares, often referred to as 'pearl of the Axarquia' and voted 'Pueblo magico d'España'

The holiday home consists of a main house and an adjoining apartment. The apartment has a separate entrance 10 meters from the main entrance. The heated swimming pool is available from April 1st to November 15th.

In the main house you have 3 bedrooms and the adjoining apartment, with separate entrance, has 2 bedrooms. There are 3 bathrooms. Both the villa and the apartment have a cozy living room and the main house of course has an excellently equipped kitchen with refrigerator, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and all kitchen utensils.
There is TV, stereo, DVD and FREE WIFI. The whole house is excellently equipped and very nicely decorated. There is a pellet stove and a fireplace for the colder evenings. There are several parking spaces at the house.
The beautiful outdoor area has a swimming pool, beautiful terraces with garden furniture and sunbeds and an outdoor kitchen with barbecue. It is wonderful to cook and eat 'al fresco' outside with family and friends. Because this part of southern Spain has the best climate in all of Europe, many pleasant evenings await you.
Our villa is pet friendly and you can bring 1 pet, but only after consultation.

Please keep in mind that the target group of our villas are families and friends who want to spend a wonderful and pleasant holiday together and that they are therefore not suitable for noisy party holidays. The interior and the quiet environment do not lend themselves to this.

Los Ventorros is a cozy hamlet that belongs to Comares. There are 2 excellent bars/restaurants within walking distance of the house. A 5-minute drive will take you to Comares. The beautiful white village of Comares has been named 'Pueblo Magico d'España' and is often called 'The Pearl of the Axarquia'. There are cozy restaurants and bars, a supermarket, a bakery (bread baked in a wood oven!), banks, a pharmacy and ATM.

Just outside the village you can enjoy the via ferratas of the largest Tirolina in Spain.
The beautiful surroundings invite you to hike, cycle, mountain bike or just enjoy the scenery. relax and enjoy the view. You can go to Comares by car or by means of a lovely walk with breathtaking views.

The multi-award-winning beach of Torre del Mar is about a 40-minute drive from the house. You will find many nice 'chiringuitos' (beach restaurants) where you can enjoy crackling fresh fish that comes straight from the nearby fishing port of Caleta de Velez.                                         
Velez Malaga, which is located next to Torre del Mar, has a large commercial center and you will find a wide range of supermarkets and shops.       
Málaga, pearl of gastronomy and culture, is only an hour's drive away. Visit one of the many museums, a real Flamenco show or 'shop till you drop' in the famous Calle Larios. Málaga really does have something for everyone and every visitor will instantly fall in love with this pleasant, cozy and beautiful city.

Villa José 2 is also perfectly located to visit other parts of Andalusia. Ronda, Granada (Alhambra), Cordoba (Mezquita) or the world-famous Caminito del Rey are all easy to visit on a day trip.

Air conditioning costs: €30 per week are included in your rate, after which you pay for what you use. The average cost is €1 for 1 hour, depending on the temperature setting. Please note that air conditioning is only available in all rooms.
