Casa el Algarrobo is a beautifully situated country house that offers our guests a unique holiday experience, surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Spanish interior and yet only 30 km from the coast.

The house offers total privacy, has a beautiful swimming pool with a small waterfall and has several terraces and a balcony. There is an outdoor kitchen with a cooking fire, BBQ and oven, because the weather in this region is exceptionally mild all year round, our guests often enjoy cooking outside or enjoying aperitifs.
The terraces offer you the opportunity to enjoy both sun and shade all day long. There is sufficient garden furniture, which is spread out in various cozy seating areas. The view of the Sierra Tejeda is truly phenomenal. If you like to enjoy complete privacy while swimming or sunbathing, then our house is the ideal place for you.

Casa El Algarrobo has a spacious living room with open kitchen. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, double sink, electric stove, refrigerator/freezer combination, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, wine rack and all necessary kitchen utensils. There is also a dining counter with bar chairs. Next to the kitchen is a storage room with washing machine, ironing board and iron.
There is parking space at the house.

The bright living room has a very cozy lounge with ceiling fan, radio-CD with USB plug, double sofa bed, satellite TV, fireplace and comfortable seats. There is a dining table and chairs. The bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and the other with bunk beds and a separate bed, open onto a balcony with great views of the surroundings. There are wardrobes in both rooms. Bed linen is included in our rental price.

The bathroom has a very spacious walk-in shower, toilet, bidet and sink and is fully tiled. All bath linen is also included in the rental price. All windows have shutters and mosquito nets.

Casa El Algarrobo is located in the beautiful area of Comares, voted 'Pueblo Magico' of Spain and near the hamlet of 'Los Ventorros'. In Los Ventorros you will find bars and restaurants. In Comares there is a supermarket, bakery (bread baked in a wood-fired oven!), pharmacy, bank, ATM, doctor's consultation and several bars and restaurants. There is also a sports field and a FREE padel court.

Comares is known for its unique location and is often called 'the pearl of the Axarquia'. Discover the Moorish past by following the ceramic footsteps through the village.

Bread can be delivered to the house every day except Sundays.

Pets may be admitted after consultation.

There is a fence around the house and its terraces.

All the 'highlights' of Andalusia are just a day trip away from casa El Algarrobo. Malaga, Cordoba (Mezquita), Ronda, Granada (Alhambra) and the Caminito del Rey in Ardales can be easily visited. Closer to home you can visit Nerja (known for its beautiful caves and its Balcon d'Europa), the beautiful Lake Viñuela and the award-winning beach of Torre del Mar. The commercial center of Velez-Malaga is just a 30-minute drive away. There you will find many shops and supermarkets.

We personally hand over the keys to our guests upon arrival. After that we offer you complete privacy. If you need us during your stay, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are just a phone call away.

There is a folder in the house with tourist information and important telephone numbers. We will send good and clear directions and for those who want, we will send the exact location via Whatsapp or we will meet on the way to the Casa. There are no dangerous roads to the house. You can enjoy beautiful walks here and many guests bring their mountain bikes.
