CASA VELA, TORREQUEBRADA, BENALMADENA. This beautiful apartment is located in a special part of Benalmadena, the quiet Torrequebrada. Although the house is located in a quiet area, it is only within walking distance of the touristy, active part of Benalmadena. A perfect location for an excellent family holiday. 

The apartment has 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 with toilet, bidet and shower and 1 with toilet, bidet and bath/shower), a spacious living room with double sofa bed, and a fully equipped kitchen. You also have a washing machine. The terrace has stunning views over the adjacent golf course. Perfect for golfers! Casa Vela also has air conditioning throughout, hi-speed wifi internet and private parking. There are 2 communal swimming pools (open all year round!), beautiful gardens, a communal solarium with fantastic views of the sea and a communal gymnasium.

Casa Vela is located about 800 meters from the sea and about 3.5 km from the marina. It is about a 10-minute walk to bars and restaurants. A local bus (no.103) passes by the apartment every 40 minutes. Therefore, a car is not essential at Casa Vela, but it is useful if you want to make the most of this beautiful area. 

Benalmadena is a municipality in the province of Malaga and consists of three main areas; Benalmadena Pueblo, Benalmadena Costa (including Torrequebrada) and Arroyo de la Miel. The beautiful city of Malaga is about 12 km to the west, and the fashionable Marbella is about the same distance but in an easterly direction. The whole region has expanded rapidly in recent decades due to tourism and has become one of the top locations of the Costa del Sol. Benalmadena Costa is home to most of the attractions in the area, the most important being of course the beautiful beaches. There are restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and there is a relaxed, friendly atmosphere all year round. With the wide and varied range of activities and sights on offer, no visitor will be bored for a moment in Benalmadena, a city that is really much more than an ordinary coastal town. 
A beautiful promenade stretches along the coast to the Puerto Marina (Marine Port), where excellent shopping and dining can be found. The marina is also home to The Sea Life Centre, a fascinating interactive aquarium where you can get to know the amazingly beautiful underwater world and its inhabitants. La Paloma Park is a beautiful location in the centre of Benalmadena Costa. There is a stunning array of flora and fauna, with a menagerie of animals including chickens, rabbits, goats and exotic birds. The park is beautifully landscaped with themed gardens and rock waterfalls that run down to the lake. There are two bars in the park where you can relax in the evening while listening to the call of peacocks. In addition to La Paloma Park, you can visit Selwo Marina, the sister of Selwo Adventure Park. Modeled around various locations in South America, you can get up close and personal with dolphins, sea lions, crocodiles, exotic birds, and snakes. A penguin enclosure has recently been built that gives a glimpse of Antarctica in Andalusia. There is a wide choice of golf courses in the Benalmadena area.
Benalmadena has a subtropical Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and warm winters. A cooling sea breeze makes the summer heat manageable; Average summer temperature is 32 degrees.  Many travel agencies offer day trips to Granada and the magnificent Alhambra Palace, wonder of Moorish architecture. Also to Cordoba where you can visit the famous Mezquita and of course to Seville, the unsurpassed capital of Andalusia. If you want to get a taste of real Spanish life, we recommend visiting the famous white villages or 'pueblos' of Andalusia and get to know the unique way of life and work of the friendly inhabitants. Highly recommended ! 
With all these possibilities in the immediate vicinity of the apartment, you don't even really need a car to enjoy all that Benalmadena and Andalucia have to offer.
