The GR63 runs along the entire coast, well laid out and full of beautiful beaches and views
In the 1.5-hectare garden, there is room everywhere for seating areas with a view or a hammock in the olive trees
Our house is almost impossible to photograph in its entirety because it is so elongated. Here is a view of it from the vegetable garden
In the mountain area of Els Ports there are plenty of beautiful walks to be made and you will find a lot of water and rivers, even when it is hot and dry

Tortosa is not (yet) very touristy but has many Art Deco buildings from other times
The mountains of Els Ports with the characteristic elephant rocks. Others see a dog in it.
'Our' monastery on the Coll de L'Alba (mountain top of the sunrise). 1 time a month there is Sunday cooking.
The second bedroom is a very attractive place. We brought the blanket with us from Brazil.

The Ebro Delta is flat and full of rice paddies. A very special region full of birds, therefore partly a reserve, but otherwise mainly good for wide and empty sandy beaches.
Casas de Alcanar, an attractive coastal town full of tasty restaurants

Villa familia is located in a quiet neighborhood and has a large Mediterranean garden. There are parking spaces for several cars and the property is completely fenced.
Villa Familia has a swimming pool of 5 x 12 meters where you can swim excellent lengths. For the little ones there is a shallow part. The pool has its own toilet and shower

From the spacious conservatory in apartment 1 you have a view of the garden and the swimming pool. In the winter season, the south-east facing conservatory is a pleasant and sunny place in the apartment. There is a large dining table with 8 chairs.
The living room of apartment 1 has a sitting area and a smart TV with Google Chromecast. This way you can easily stream your favorite videos and music from your smartphone or tablet to the television. The living room is adjacent to the kitchen and the conservatory of 20 m2.
Kitchen apartment 1. With large fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave and dishwasher. Basic ingredients such as oil, salt and spices are in stock so you can cook right away.

Villa Familia is located about 2 km from the Mediterranean Sea. You can also see the sea from the roof terrace of apartment 3.
Villa Familia has ample parking on its own fully fenced property
There are beautiful hiking trails in the nearby mountains (Sierra del Mestral). Ermita de Santa Marina is an ideal point to start or end a route. It has a restaurant and picnic areas to eat. Locals fill their water bottles here with the clean water from the mountains.
North and south of L'Ametlla de Mar are beautiful coves with clear water and fine sand, such as the beach of Calafat, Cala Calafató and Cala Lo Ribellet.
From Villa Familia you can cycle many kilometers in the immediate vicinity between the orchards, through the fields and along the coast. The landscape is very varied.
A long-distance path runs along the beach.
