Villa Maurie is a spacious villa with a beautiful garden around the house with fruit and olive trees, a private swimming pool and a beautiful large roof terrace with sea views. You can enjoy the sun terrace by the pool in the front garden and in the backyard you will also find a large covered sitting and dining area and a stone bbq.
The villa is within walking distance of the old cozy center of the fishing village of L'Ampolla on the Costa Dorada (via the promenade 15-20 min. walk). Come and enjoy the tranquility, the Spanish atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings with the many beaches, rock formations and the nearby nature reserve near the river Ebro.
Villa Maurie consists of two floors. You rent the upstairs apartment (we do not rent out the downstairs apartment, so you have the entire property to yourself/private). The upstairs apartment is neatly furnished and has a well-equipped kitchen with new appliances and a cozy living room with sitting and dining area. The house has two spacious bedrooms with built-in wardrobes and two bathrooms (with bath, shower, sink, toilets and washer dryer). You can sit comfortably in the cozy conservatory and/or on the large roof terrace with sea views, accessible through the large patio doors of the living room.
The house is located in a quiet small residential area and has a private parking for several cars. The villa has central heating, new air conditioning, double glazing, shutters and stone tiles. Bed linen and towels are included. You can use Wi-Fi and Netflix, NL Ziet, YouTube and internet are available on the TV (Ziggo go or KPN, on your own login account).
In the picturesque center of L'Ampolla you will find shops, supermarkets, the bakery, the butcher, the fishmonger, the local market, restaurants and terraces. In L'Ampolla and its surroundings there are many beautiful beaches and bays, walking and cycling routes.
Our preference is arrival and departure on Saturday. If you have a different preference or if you want to rent longer outside the season (late summer and/or winter), that is also possible, please contact us for the possibilities. Again, during your stay you will have everything to yourself, the ground floor apartment is not available and remains closed.
You can drive to L'Ampolla from the Netherlands, it is about 1650 km. You can fly via Eindhoven-Reus with RyanAir. From Reus it is a 45-minute drive by car to L'Ampolla. You can rent a car on Reus, booking a car in advance via the internet is recommended (e.g. via Goldcar or Europcar). From Amsterdam, Transavia flies to Reus. It is of course also possible to fly from Eindhoven, Rotterdam and/or Schiphol to Barcelona or Valencia.
Nearby towns you can visit are to the north; Tarragona, Reus, Cambrils, Salou, Barcelona and to the south; Tortosa, Amposta, San Carles de la Rapita, Castello, RiuMar, Valencia. Inland, the mountain villages in the Parc Natural del Ports, such as the Picasso village of Horta de San Juan, are recommended.
