Moraira is originally an old fishing village and has managed to retain its charm unlike many other places on the Costas. It is called the "Saint-Tropez of Spain". This is not unjustified, Moraira is a fashionable but at the same time very attractive and cozy town. There are no high-rise buildings and no mass tourism, which makes it an ideal holiday destination!
The beaches of Moraira, Cumbre, Javea and Calpe are a short drive away. Within a 6-minute drive you can reach the beaches of Moraira and the Cumbre. Beautiful Javea is a 15-minute drive away. Benissa Costa can be reached in about 15 minutes where you will find a number of very lovely beaches (the Calas) with xiringuitos, or beach restaurants that are also very nice to go to.
Denia, Jalon, Jesus Pobre, Villajoyosa and Altea are also worth a visit, about 25 minutes' drive away. Benidorm with its beaches is 30 minutes away and offers several water, amusement and safari parks.
Alicante and Valencia are an hour's drive away.
