Villa Toro

The villa
Villa Toro is an 8 person Spanish finca where you can be yourself and relax. The house is surrounded by the nature of the beautiful Jalón Valley. Within 60 minutes of both Alicante and Valencia Airport and only 15 km from the white beaches of Jávea, Moraira, Calpe and Dénia. The authentic villages of Lliber and Jalón (Xalo) can be reached within 5 minutes. In Jalón you will find supermarkets, wineries, weekly markets, restaurants and local terraces. 
The holiday home has 4 double bedrooms (one bedroom en-suite), air conditioning and Wifi. It features two bathrooms and a separate guest toilet.   

The villa has a large swimming pool (5 x 11 meters), a Mediterranean-style landscaped garden and overlooks the valley. Several landscaped terraces, both covered and uncovered, offer every opportunity for relaxation and relaxation. An electric entrance gate gives access to ample parking including a covered carport.

Bedrooms
On the ground floor there are two double rooms, one room with a large double bed, the other room with two single beds that can also be set up as a double bed. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with a second en-suite bedroom with balcony. Both rooms on this floor have double beds. All bedrooms have air conditioning, a fan and spacious built-in wardrobes.     

Bathrooms
On the first floor, accessible from the master bedroom, is the bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. On the ground floor, the two double bedrooms share a second bathroom, also with shower, sink and toilet.  

Kitchen
The open authentic kitchen on the ground floor is equipped with a dishwasher, convection oven, gas stove, fridge, freezer, microwave, Nespresso and filter coffee maker, toaster, kettle, kitchen utensils and kitchen textiles (tea and towels, dishcloth). There is also a second (covered) kitchen outside by the pool. This is also equipped with a sink, refrigerator, freezer, convection oven, gas stove and also a stainless steel grill plate. The outdoor dining area has a magnificent view over the valley and around the dining table you can spend long summer evenings together. 

Washroom
The laundry room is located on the ground floor and includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

Living room
The spacious and high living room has a characteristic beamed ceiling, wooden window shutters, fireplace and satellite TV and streaming audio system (Sonos). The tiled floor has underfloor heating and there are reading books and games available. All windows are double glazed, mosquito nets and shutters and offer views of the beautiful nature. 

Cleaning and linen service
All bed linen and bath textiles (large and small towel and beach towel) are included. The final cleaning is mandatory and costs 120 euros for a stay by 4 people plus 10 euros per additional person.

Accessibility and language
The house is easily accessible for the elderly with no sills or thresholds on the ground floor, but is not wheelchair friendly everywhere due to the layout over 2 floors and the step to the swimming pool. Our Dutch and English-speaking representative on site lives nearby and is available if needed to answer your questions or requests.

The area
Villa Toro is located on a hill overlooking the Jalón valley, a beautiful green valley with vineyards, olive, citrus and almond trees, and the surrounding mountain ranges. In the landscape you can still find the traces of the Moors, who stayed in Spain for more than eight centuries. They managed to change the Spanish landscape definitively with their ingenious irrigation systems. Thanks to the innovative water techniques for that time, tropical and subtropical crops such as artichokes, avocados, saffron, sesame seeds and citrus fruits that were new to Spain were also able to survive and take root definitively.   

The Jalón valley is a wonderful walking and cycling area. From the holiday home you can make beautiful hiking trails and for the recreational or active cyclist, the Jalón valley is a fantastic area with beautiful cycling routes. The coastal towns of Dénia, Moraira and Calpe are not only accessible by car but also by bike. City lovers can indulge themselves in Alicante and Valencia.
