This unique 19th-century cave house has been lovingly restored and is located in a beautiful atmospheric, tropical garden with private swimming pool. Surrounded by orange/lemon groves and olive and almond farms. It has stunning 360 degree mountain views, making this property ideally located for cycling, hiking, birding and nature lovers. The village of La Murada is just 1km, with a number of typical Spanish bars and restaurants, banks, supermarkets, several specialist shops, a pharmacy, petrol station and medical centre. La Murada is known for its excellent Sunday market, which attracts people from all over the area. The property has 3 bedrooms; Bedroom 1 has a double bed, bedroom 2 has two single beds. These bedrooms share a bathroom with toilet. Bedroom 3 has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. The property has a spacious fitted kitchen with oven/hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and various small appliances and it has a separate utility room. In the cave there is a dining room with dining table and chairs. The living room has sofas and chairs, a coffee table, TV, board games, books and there is good WIFI connection. For the occasional cool winter months, the living room has an attractive wood stove. On the outdoor terrace there are tables, chairs, sunbeds and a parasol. Bed linen and towels (incl. pool towels) are provided.

The final cleaning is 120 euros, regardless of the number of people. If you want to have the house cleaned in between, this is possible at an additional cost. There is no washing machine in the house, but we are happy to provide you with freshly laundered clothes free of charge. A cot is available. This can be placed in bedroom 3 on request for 5 euros per night. For golf enthusiasts there is a women's golf set that you can rent for 10 euros per day. The deposit of € 300 must be transferred by bank transfer no later than 1 day before arrival. Electricity; 15 kWh per day included. Any additional consumption will be deducted from the deposit at a rate of € 0.50 per kWh. The remaining amount will be returned to your bank account within 14 days of departure.

Check-in is possible from 15:00. On the day of departure, you must have checked out by 10.30 am at the latest.

We do not accept groups under the age of 27.

Between 22:30 and 07:00 we allow nature and the environment silence.

Travel and cancellation insurance is recommended. With travel insurance you are insured against damage that you may incur during your trip/stay. Cancellation insurance covers financial damage that occurs when you unexpectedly have to abort your trip prematurely. You cannot appeal to the owners for this in any way.

You have access to the entire holiday home. We are regularly available for help or questions. Although we also live in this place, we have our own entrance and parking space so you can enjoy in complete privacy.

At the end of 2023, together with my family, I changed course and moved to beautiful Spain. We fell in love with this property with its phenomenal views. Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The rates are based on 1 to 4 people.
For the 5th and 6th person, the landlord charges € 15 per person per night.

The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant  :

Cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free cancellation  

Cancellation between the 90th and 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price

Cancellation between the 59th and 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price  

Cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price  

If the tenant does not inform the landlord on the start date of the rental period that he will no longer use the rented property, he remains liable for the full rental price.

Additional information

The house is located in the countryside, among the citrus trees with many amenities in the area. There is a friendly atmosphere and the view is phenomenal! It is a place where you can completely relax.

Guardamar beach and the famous Lemontree market are a good half hour's drive away. There are many golf courses in the area. The thermal baths of Fortuna are located in the vicinity and those in Archena are 36 km away. Orihuela is a very old medieval town with many historic buildings located within a 10 minute drive. Elche, which is approximately 20 minutes' drive away, is world famous for its palm tree park. And real shoppers will certainly like to drive 20 minutes to the Nueva Condomina indoor shopping center in Murcia, where there are also many tasty restaurants. The village has a local bus service that goes to Orihuela town 3 times a day, from here you can connect by bus or train almost anywhere.

The Costa Blanca is reminiscent of idyllic beaches and coves in the Valencia region. But it also offers many other attractions that offer a careful mix of modernity and tradition. Alicante has an ideal climate for practicing water sports and relaxing by the sea, where you can enjoy a few fun days off. Further inland, nestled among beautiful landscapes, cities such as Elche, Orihuela, Guadalest and Alcoi offer a rich artistic and cultural heritage. Discover the popular fiestas and celebrations, delicious Mediterranean cuisine, art, modernity and countless activities and events that are sure to impress you.

Alicante and Murcia airports are a 30 and 45 minute drive away.
Renting a car is strongly recommended.
