Casa Mistela

Casa Mistela is a recent, beautifully renovated house from 1880, located in the beautiful green Jalon valley on the Costa Blanca. From here you can take beautiful walks or bike rides through the rugged mountain area. The Mediterranean Sea is less than a 20-minute drive from the house.

Casa Mistela has 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 12 people. You have access to a fully and modern kitchen. The house has a beautiful garden with swimming pool, in short,  everything is there to make your stay unforgettable. We are easily accessible via the AP7, exit 63 (Benissa). Alicante Airport and Valencia Airport are about an hour's drive away, so it's easy to do.

We are Sonja and John Hermans and we have been the proud owners of Casa Mistela for almost 3 years. It was always our dream to live and work here in Spain, a dream that has become a reality for us. We immediately fell in love with this beautiful area and still marvel at its versatility, which we experience again and again in our walking and cycling trips. And, if the work allows it, we also like to lie on the beach:):)

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The minimum stay is 4 nights, the maximum number of people is 14.


We ask for a deposit of 20% of the rent. After the down payment, the rent is final. 

In case of cancellation up to and including 7 days after booking: you will owe 0%.

If cancelled up to 60 days before the day of arrival, you will owe 20% (the deposit).

In case of cancellation less than 30 days to the day of arrival, you will owe 100%.


The remaining amount of 80% of the rent must be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival.


We recommend that you take out good travel and cancellation insurance.


Electricity consumption costs The rental price includes a consumption of 125 kWh per week. Any additional consumption will be deducted from the deposit of € 0.30 per kWh. Request to handle electricity use (especially air conditioning) with care.


Smoking in the house is not allowed

The sunset in Mutxamel is breathtakingly beautiful. Enjoy it while having a drink on the lovely terrace.
A lovely barbeque is located right next to the garden gazebo. Here you can enjoy a pleasant BBQ evening with your guests.
A huge 150-year-old olive tree adorns the garden of Casa Gran Mirador
On the balcony is a beautiful terrace where you can relax. A cool breeze blows here every now and then, which makes it nice.
From the front door you can see the beaches of El Campello in the distance.
From the main entrance you enter the hall and you see the living room.
Enjoy playing table tennis with your family members. This is possible at Casa Gran Mirador. And after table tennis, you can continue playing on the American pool billiards indoors.
You have a great view on the terrace of the 2nd floor. You will see the city of Alicante and the beaches of El Campello. Behind you you will see beautiful mountains. It's nice to wake up in the morning on this fitness machine.
You are standing here on the second floor and looking into the stairwell. To the first floor and the ground floor.
Don't feel like going out in the sun for a while; sit inside. There are ceiling fans and air conditioning.
The third bathroom on the second floor has a bathtub.

At the BBQ house there is of course a beautiful and large BBQ for you and your family.
The villa is located near El Campello. Here there are beautiful beaches but also beautiful rocks.
When you come to Casa Gran Mirador you will see the city of Alicante in the distance. The distance is approximately 16 kilometers (25 minutes by car). Here is the most beautiful boulevard in Spain; the Explanada! You will definitely go here.
Go to the beach in the morning and enjoy the most beautiful sunrises!
The area around Casa Gran Mirador is a true cycling paradise. There are beautiful routes that you can ride for both mountain bikers and racing cyclists. Prepare for some tough climbing!
Our olive tree is and remains beautiful. Apparently already 150 years old, this tree takes a prominent place in the landscaped garden of Casa Gran Mirador.
The swimming pool has a beautiful brick access staircase. After three steps the pool is one meter deep. The swimming pool at the back is 1.70 deep. There are swimming pool regulations that we display on our announcement board.
From the hall you will see the stairs to the ground floor and to the second floor.
The sunrises at Casa Gran Mirador are also a real pleasure. Reason enough to get up on time!
You can have a delicious lunch and dinner everywhere in Spain. But sometimes it's also nice to stay at home and provide a good lunch for your family.
The barbecue gazebo offers ample seating for larger groups. It is especially pleasant to stay here in the evening.

Hello summer! But it is also wonderfully relaxing at the swimming pool of Casa Gran Mirador in spring and autumn.
Enjoy the pool on warm summer evenings.
Of course, the villa is also beautifully illuminated at night. There is lighting at the house and you can also turn on the pool lighting and garden lighting to stay outside for a long time in the evening.
We have set up two permanent parasols by the pool. This is for people who prefer to avoid the sun.
Bathroom 3 on the second floor has a sink, a toilet and a bath with shower.
The American pool table has a direct connection to the garden and swimming pool. In the background you can see our announcement board. Here you will find the swimming pool regulations, the house rules, the check-out instructions, the wife password and various brochures for all kinds of fun attractions in the area.
Bathroom 2. Located on the 1st floor has a sink, a toilet and a shower. In principle, this bathroom is used by bedrooms 4, 5 and 6.
