'Casa Miramar' Benissa - Moraira


Casa Miramar is an attractive detached villa with air conditioning, private swimming pool (with salt water) and sea views. The house is located in Benissa, 950 meters from the sea and is located in the most beautiful part of the Costa Blanca, between Calpe and Moraira. Since January 2023, the house has had solar panels, which makes Casa Miramar a bit more sustainable.

Enjoy the sunrise and the wonderful view of the Mediterranean Sea on the veranda during your breakfast. You also have a view of the Ifach, the famous rock of Calpe. The house is located in a quiet area and is really suitable for families and not for young people under 25 years of age.

With a warm Mediterranean climate, it is pleasant all year round with temperatures in spring and autumn of around 20 degrees and wonderfully warm summers. This excellent climate, with more than 300 sunny days a year, has created a beautiful varied landscape that is very popular with many tourists.

Casa Miramar has 4 air conditioning units (installed in January 2023), is on the ground floor and consists of: a hall, a fully equipped kitchen (with oven, ceramic hob, a fridge-freezer and a Nespresso coffee machine), a living room with ensuite (both with air conditioning) , 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds. The ensuite can be used as sleeping accommodation for a third child upon consultation.

In addition, there are 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bath and a total of 2 toilets. The house also features a washing machine and dryer. There is a television and a well-functioning WIFI network (both included in the rental price). There is a lockable carport on the side of the house.

The holiday home is in principle available for 1 to 4 people. As previously described, a fifth person (child) is possible, who can sleep on the sofa bed in the ensuite.

In the spacious, well-kept garden you have sun all day and lots of privacy. There are sun terraces around the house with sun beds and a cooling outdoor shower. The attractive BBQ offers you the opportunity to enjoy a snack and a drink. The garden includes lemon, orange, palm and fig trees and jasmine bushes.

There are several beaches (sand and/or pebble) close to the house where you can swim and snorkel. For a large, wide sandy beach you can go to Calpe or Moraira, both just a few minutes' drive away. In the many bays, called calas, you can enjoy delicious food and drinks, such as Cala Fustera (with a sandy beach and restaurant 'Mandala Beach Bar'), in Cala Baladrar (a top location for lunch and drinks at 'Xiringuito Olalà') or in Cala l'Andragó (Bar La Cabana). Visit one of the many restaurants in the attractive harbor of Moraira or in the old town of Calpe.

There is plenty to do for sports enthusiasts. In the immediate vicinity there are facilities for playing tennis, horse riding or golf. There are 9 and 18 hole golf courses nearby. The beautifully situated and beautifully maintained Club De Golf Ifach is only 3 km away.

There are many cycling enthusiasts (cyclists and mountain bikers) who especially come to this area because of the pleasant climate and beautiful nature. In the mountainous hinterland there are breathtaking hiking trails for hikers and other nature lovers. Of course, there is also plenty to do for water sports enthusiasts. Diving, sailing, kiting, surfing or sea fishing are possible.

Various facilities such as supermarkets (including 'Pepe la Sal' and 'Mas y Mas'), a pharmacy, a drugstore and various banks can be found 2 km away on the road to Moraira. You can fly to both Alicante (55 minutes' drive) and Valencia (1.15 hours' drive). By car from Utrecht it is a 1975 km drive.

The north of the Costa Blanca, the Marina Alta region, is the healthiest area in the world according to the World Health Organization. There is no industry, the surrounding mountains provide a microclimate and the temperatures are pleasant in winter. An ideal region to spend the holidays and spend the winter. It should therefore not be surprising that more foreigners live here than Spaniards.

Add to this some historic cities, picturesque villages and a varied nature that ranges from extensive beaches to picturesque valleys between high mountains, and you will find ideal conditions for relaxing here. This is evidenced by the countless cycling tourists we see along the way and the crowds of hikers we encounter on the mountain trails.

Explanation of prices


    • Payment conditions: Within 7 days after receipt of the confirmation on your reservation request, you must pay 30% of the total travel sum as specified in the invoice. Reservations are only final when you sign and return the rental conditions. You must pay the remainder of the total travel sum no later than 6 weeks before arrival.
    • You are advised to take out cancellation and travel insurance.
    • Cancellation costs (according to standard ANWB rental agreement holiday home):
    • A . 15% of the rental price in case of cancellation more than 3 months before the start date of the rental period;
    • B. 50% of the rental price in case of cancellation more than 2 months but no longer than 3 months before the start date of the rental period;
    • C. 70% of the rental price in case of cancellation more than 1 month but no longer than 2 months before the start date of the rental period;
    • D. 90% of the rental price in case of cancellation more than 1 day but no longer than 1 month before the start date of the rental period;
    • E. 100% of the rental price if canceled on the start date of the rental period.
    • In addition to the cancellation costs, the lessor may charge a fixed amount of €25 in administration costs.
    • Arrival/departure: arrival after 4 pm, departure before 10 am.
    • Deposit : €300,-
    • Final cleaning : €125,-
    • Bed linen and towels : included in the price. You must bring your own beach towels.
    • Water : included in the price.
    • Wifi : included in the price.
    • LIABILITY: During the stay, the tenant is liable for the house, the interior and exterior and everything that belongs to Casa Miramar, including the pool. If you unexpectedly cause damage, you must report this to the landlords and reimburse the damage. Casa Miramar and its owners are not liable for loss, theft and/or (injury) damage caused to or by tenants of Casa Miramar.
