'Casa Miramar' Benissa - Moraira


Casa Miramar is an attractive detached villa with air conditioning, private swimming pool (with salt water) and sea view. The house is located in Benissa, 900 meters from the sea and is located in the most beautiful part of the Costa Blanca, located between Calpe and Moraira. The house has solar panels which makes Casa Miramar a bit more sustainable. Recently, in March 2025, the house has had a thorough renovation; Repainted, all windows and frames have been replaced and we have 2 new bathrooms. 

Enjoy the sunrise and the wonderful view of the Mediterranean Sea on the veranda during your breakfast. In addition, you also have a view of the Ifach, the famous rock of Calpe. The house is located in a quiet area. 

With a warm Mediterranean climate, it is pleasant all year round with temperatures in spring and autumn of about 20 degrees and lovely warm summers. This excellent climate, with more than 300 sunny days a year, has created a beautiful varied landscape that is very popular with many tourists. 

Casa Miramar has 4 air conditioning units (installed in January 2023), is on the ground floor and consists of: a hall, a fully equipped kitchen (with oven, ceramic hob, a fridge-freezer and a Nespresso coffee machine), a living room with ensuite (both with air conditioning), 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds. The ensuite can be used in consultation as sleeping accommodation for a third child. Furthermore, there is WIFI and television with many Dutch and European channels.

 In addition, there are 2 new bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub and there are a total of 2 toilets. The house also includes a washing machine and a dryer. There is a television and a well-functioning WIFI network (both included in the rental price). On the side of the house is a lockable carport.

The holiday home is basically available for 1 to 4 people. As described earlier, a fifth person (child) is possible, who can sleep on the sofa bed in the ensuite.

In the spacious, well-kept garden you have sun all day and lots of privacy. Around the house are sun terraces with sunbeds and there is a cooling outdoor shower. The attractive BBQ offers you the opportunity to enjoy a snack and a drink. In the garden there are lemon, orange, palm and fig trees and jasmine bushes.

Near the house there are several beaches (sand and/or pebble) where you can swim and snorkel. For a large wide sandy beach you can go to Calpe or Moraira, both just a few minutes' drive away. In the many bays, called calas, you can enjoy delicious food and drinks such as Cala Fustera (with a sandy beach and restaurant 'Mandala Beach Bar'), in Cala Baladrar (a top location for lunch and drinks at 'Xiringuito Olalà') or in Cala l'Andragó (Bar La Cabana). Visit one of the many restaurants in the attractive port of Moraira or in the old town of Calpe.

There is plenty to do for sports enthusiasts. In the immediate vicinity there are facilities for tennis, horse riding or golf. There are 9 and 18 hole golf courses nearby. The beautifully situated and beautifully maintained Club De Golf Ifach is only 3 km away. 

There are many cycling enthusiasts (cyclists and mountain bikers) who come to this area especially because of the pleasant climate and the beautiful nature. In the mountainous hinterland there are breathtaking hiking trails for hikers and other nature lovers. Of course, there is also plenty to do for water sports enthusiasts. Diving, sailing, kiting, surfing or sea fishing are among the possibilities. 

Various amenities such as supermarkets (including Aldi within walking distance, 'Pepe la Sal' and 'Mas y Mas'), a pharmacy, a drugstore and various banks can be found 2 km away on the road to Moraira. You can fly to both Alicante (55 minutes drive) and Valencia (1.15 hours drive). By car from Utrecht it is 1975 km away.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Payment terms

Within 7 days after receipt of the reservation confirmation you must pay 40% of the total rent as a deposit.

The reservation is only final after signing and returning the rental conditions and receipt of the deposit.

The remainder (60%) must be paid no later than 6 weeks before arrival.


We advise you to take out travel and cancellation insurance.


Cancellation policy (In accordance with standard ANWB rental agreement holiday home)

In the event of cancellation by the tenant, the following costs are due:

A. 15% of the rental price for > 3 months before the start

B. 50% of the rental price at 2–3 months before the start

C. 70% of the rental price at 1–2 months before the start

D. 90% of the rental price for 1 day–1 month before the start

E. 100% of the rental price if cancelled on the day of arrival

€ 25 administration fee

If the period is re-let, cancellation costs will be reduced by the new revenue.

Liability

The tenant is fully responsible for damage to the house, garden, inventory and swimming pool, caused by himself or fellow guests.

Casa Miramar and owners are not liable for loss, theft or personal injury except in the case of intent or gross negligence of the landlord.

Any damage must be reported immediately and compensated.

Excess of insurance is at the expense of the renter.


Delivery on departure

The house must be on departure:

- Be smudge clean.

- Waste disposed of.

- Dishes clean and tidy.

- Furniture back in its original place.

In the event of extreme soiling, additional cleaning costs may be deducted from the deposit.


Security

The deposit is € 200 and will be refunded within 7 days after departure, after deduction of:

- Damage to home/garden/pool/inventory

- Lost keys

- Excessive energy and/or water consumption

- Additional cleaning fee if necessary
