We, Nicole & Frank, all from the sixties "Spain travelers." On a terrace with a nice glass of wine was often daydreamed how it would be great chance to have their own niche in Spain. A long cherished dream became reality when we our villa in Alcalali in the middle of the fabulous Jalon Valley, in early 2013, bought. The location, view from the living room and the terraces on the mountains in the valley, is beautiful. Here you will find the necessary peace and the crowds away.

Cancellation policy:

The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

In case of cancellation up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge
In case of cancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.

Location & area recommendations

The Jalon valley, with a length of more than thirty kilometers, is surrounded by hills and mountains with a height of up to 1400 meters. Down in the valley the greenery is overgrown and the vegetation extends almost to the tops of the mountains. It is very special to look at this very green valley by Spanish standards, even in the periods of extreme drought.
Vineyards and almond plantations In the valley, when entering from the town of Benissa, the vineyards and almond plantations begin. The vineyards are owned by the Jalon cooperative, which in turn is owned by the many small winegrowers. The wine produced here is both red and white in color. But the most famous wines from this region are the very sweet Muscatel wines (dessert wines).
The valley has been awarded the designation Denominacion de Origen by the Spanish government for its wines. This means that the quality must meet many requirements. Villages, Lliber, Alcalali, Jalon and Parcent are scattered like pearls over the valley. Fine examples of well-preserved Mediterranean architecture can be seen everywhere. All the villages here are gems of typical Spanish style and Spanish culture. There are many cozy restaurants and there is good local wine and honey for sale. Both to live and to visit, this area is an absolute must.
