The bungalow is located in a small-scale game park "Ekuthuleni", with 24-hour security. The house overlooks the mighty Elephant River, is surrounded by the bush and is close to the Kruger Park. It is a 5 1/2 drive from Johannesburg and a 1/2 drive from the airport in Hoedspruit.
The beautiful, peaceful location is great for nature and bird lovers. Hippos and crocodiles can be seen almost daily from the terrace. Wildebeest, zebras and Impala graze on the grass behind the bungalows at night. Sometimes lions, leopards, or wild dogs are spotted.
A stay here is a true African Bush experience! The nature sounds are actually indescribable.
Day trips to Kruger, Blyde River Canyon and the Panorama route are easy to do from the bungalow, as well as many other activities in the area. Hoedspruit (24 km) is a cozy place with many restaurants and shops. A nice restaurant on the river is 5 km away.
You stay in a nice detached bungalow, generous for 4 people. There are still 2 sleeping places in the loft, but we only rent them in special cases. You have the entire house at your disposal on the basis of self-catering.
The house has a beautiful view of the Olifants river and is surrounded by large trees. The main bedroom has a King size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and there is a separate second bathroom. Both bedrooms have a view of the river. The bedrooms have air conditioning and a fan.
The living room has a large corner sofa and dining table. The TV has many satellite channels including BVN. There is wifi that can be activated by us on request.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a stove and oven, fridge / freezer combination, a dishwasher and microwave, and equipped with crockery, pans, and kitchen linen.
Because we mainly live outside, for us the "eye catcher" is the terrace on the river side. This new extra large terrace (115 m²) with its own swimming pool / splash pool, patio furniture and a BBQ area. In September, a communal large swimming pool will also be installed at the park.
The wildlife, the river, and the open swimming pool and balustrade of this bungalow are not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
