Luxurious and very spacious authentic holiday villa with thatched roof in a quiet location, right next to the Kruger Park. Located in Phalaborwa at the four-star lodge "Bush Villas On Kruger" with a large swimming pool (15 by 5 meters) and a good restaurant "The Calabash Grill" nearby on the grounds of the adjacent lodge (easily and quickly accessible on foot).
Our villa is equipped with a battery system, so you will not be bothered by power failures due to the so-called "load shedding" problems in South Africa. The villa has a new and fully equipped modern kitchen and 3 completely new bathrooms, 2 of which have a bath and shower. Bed linen and kitchen linen are provided by the lodge. Cleaning daily unless otherwise agreed. 3 separate bedrooms with air conditioning. 2 ensuite bathrooms with bath, shower, toilet and double sink. 1 separate bathroom with shower, toilet and single sink. Equipped with fiber optic WiFi and TV. Nice large veranda. Right in front of the veranda is a "skottelbraai" for a nice BBQ. Spacious garden surrounding the holiday villa with various native trees and shrubs. From the veranda you have a beautiful view of the Lodge's fishing pond.
Our holiday villa is ideally located in the authentic South African town of Phalaborwa just a 3-minute drive from the Phalaborwa Gate of the Kruger Park, close to a large Spar supermarket and the excellent restaurant "Bushveld Terrace". From the Phalaborwa Gate there are several beautiful routes through the Kruger Park: to Satara, to Olifants, to Letaba or to Mopani. We are happy to give you tips about the most beautiful routes!
For even more adventure, it is possible to drive 45 minutes to Hoedspruit for a hot air balloon ride or a visit to the "Hoedspruit Reptile Center", or to the "Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Center". The spectacular Blyde River Canyon (with God's Window, the Bourke's Luck PotHoles and The Three Rondavals) is also a day trip away from our holiday villa, as are a number of spectacular waterfalls, such as the MacMac Falls, the Lisbon Falls and the Berlin Falls.
Looking for even more action: Then go abseiling in Tzaneen via "Magoebas Kloof Canopy Tours" or rafting in the Blyde River Canyon via "Blyde Canyon Adventure Centre".
About a 5-hour drive from Johannesburg airport. You can also fly to Hoedspruit with Flyairlink, an excellent airline from South Africa. From Hoedspruit airport it is approximately a 55-minute drive to our holiday villa.
